Looks good, feels solid, easy assembly
Using it to hold a large plant pot. Good quality, looks good, feels solid. Assembles easily as long as you heed the instructions not to tighten screws too soon. But I wouldn't want to assemble it with the supplied Allen wrench. If you have a screwdriver with changeable bits, get a 5/32" hex bit and you will be happier. You will also want a tacky jar/bottle opener to keep the spindles from turning while you tighten the screws.

I bought it for my workbench
I bought this for my workbench in my garage and it’s a perfect fit. Not too tall and not too short. I was worried it would be too tall like a bar stool. It is not. It is perfect for my needs. Make sure to take measurements for what you will be using it for. Good build quality and the most affordable option I found. Easy to assemble. It feels relatively sturdy and of good construction.

Yes you need some tools to put this together
Update: 😂. I bought another one. This one was much easier to put together, I checked the screw holes they were good. One was off center but didn’t seem to be a problem. The little plugs were not sized for the screw holes… it’s a shop stool for my grandson so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Whoever thought you only needed the allen wrench provided to put this stool together had a cruel sense of humor. I got this stool after some thought just to see if it was as hard to put together as some of the reviews... well if you don't have some tools and are not familiar with woodworking yeah... Impossible. I have some skill but am not an expert. 1) The holes for the screws are not deep enough by about an 1/8 of an inch or so. Impossible to screw this large screw in without measuring the length of the screw with a drill bit an using tape to measure the amount of depth to drill the hole. 2) Yes, the wooden plugs to cover the screw holes are not the right size, but it was size of the holes not the plugs in my case. Also, if you did not make the holes deep enough for the screws you probably did not get the screw driven all the way in and it is protruding a little and not letting you put in the plug all the way in so it would appear not to fit. It took me 15 or 20 minutes to assemble the stool after I deepened the screw holes. It seems to be sturdy. It is a shop stool, not for your home as some of the plugs may go in too far and are not very attractive. 3) What do you need for tools: an electric drill and a set of bits. I doubt there is any quality control so you decide the size of the bit and how deep to make the hole. You need a good allen wrench. Preferably with a handle, even with the holes the right depth the encluded allen wrench would not work very well. You need a wooden mallet to get the plugs into place, some will look great, some may be too deep an not look very good. Don't expect the little pads on the bottom of legs to last long, but if the stool is in your garage or shop then that's not an issue. So overall it is probably worth the price if you have the done the noted work. Given the poor quality control your stool could have problems that mine didn't and you'd have to figure it out. The individual parts (except the plugs/plug holes) are engineered well enough to put it together without an issue in my case. Bottom line I would not buy this unless you have a little skill and a drill, drill bits, and a good allen wrench. A wooden mallet was helpful. Don't expect this to be attractive, it is a functional stool.

Bar Stool
It is a great bar stool. It only took about 30 minutes to assemble and all tools and hardware is included. It is very attractive in a pale oak color.

Beautiful, Sturdy Attractive but...
Lots to like here...top quality blonde oak, good hardware, easy to assemble despite the poor quality instructions. It wasn't necessary, but I used liberal amounts of Gorilla carpenter's glue, and I used my own Allen wrench rather than the inadequate one provided. My only complaint is the design; the legs are too vertical. They should have been set at a wider angle for stability. That way it won't be so easy to tip over. It could be dangerous the way it is.A couple of screw set points were off-center, but easily rectified with a center punch. Or just a little muscle, which requires a good Allen wrench, (not the one provided). The plugs were perfectly sized, not snug so use liberal amount of Gorilla carpenter's glue. Results perfect.Since I'll be using this in my garage workshop, I decided to give it a coat of Teak Oil sealant for extra protection. It didn't change the color at all, and the sheen is still the same. (It's curing now under my infrared garage heaters and floor fan.)Height of 29" is just right for my 5'9" frame.

Sturdy, attractive, and functional
As sturdy and functional as it looks. Have been looking for this type of stool for quite some time and it does not disappoint. Easy to assemble the sections, is good quality and reasonable price. If you simply need a functional kitchen stool (or other use), this is a good deal !

Excellent value
Extremely well packed to the point of overkill. But no one should object to that. My only negative comment involves the predrilled screw holes in the lag stretchers. These area little undersized in diameter and considerable effort is necessary to affix the screws. The supplied 4 mm Allen wrench is somewhat short in length to provide sufficient torque . Certainly not a deal breaker, but a longer version, would save your fingers. I used an extension and channel locks to great advantage. Even so, the overall quality of the product is fine.
