Oxygen (O2) Sensor - 234-4621 (Fits Select Years of Acura: CL/EL/NSX/TL and Honda: Accord/Civic/Prelude Vehicles)

Wow, just wow. This product just saved my car. First off, I am a 24 year old woman who know absolutely nothing about cars. But I was pretty adamant about fixing my own vehicle. Especially knowing that I was not going to pay someone else to do an easy job. After countless research I came across this product on Amazon. This Denso 234-4621 Oxygen Sensor is described to be a exact fit on my car. I've come to learn that it's best to get the exact fit rather than universal oxygen sensors. My car is a 2001 Honda Accord, V4 EX 2.3 F23A4 Engine . It is ULEV which stands for Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle and means that the car emit cleaner emissions. My car was diagnosed with a Check Engine Light unfortunately after getting a new transmission. Using my Veepeek OBD2 Code Reader, I received the code of P0141 "O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2)." If you're interested in the code reader, I will link it below. My 2001 Honda Accord has TWO sensors. I made the mistake of not realizing what this code meant. The code was for the oxygen sensor located UNDERNEATH my car where the catalytic converter was, and not the one located underneath my HOOD in front of the catalytic converter. If you're interested in the oxygen sensor underneath the hood known as an "upstream" sensor, you are looking for a Denso 234-9014 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor which you can also purchase on Amazon. So just to make sure this makes sense, Denso 234-4621, a downstream sensor (the product being reviewed) is what you're looking for if you're receiving the P0141 Code and it is UNDERNEATH your car where the catalytic converter is located. The Denso 234-9014 is an upstream sensor that is located in front of your catalytic converter underneath your HOOD. Even though I was mistaken on which sensors I needed, turned out I still needed a new Denso 234-9014 upstream sensor due to mine being oxidized after pulling it out. Anyways, I bought a 2 different things to work on my car: Stanley 91-929 3/8-Inch Drive Pear Head Quick Release Ratchet & RamPro 3 Piece Oxygen Sensor Kit. I will link the products below. Anyways, you want to go underneath your car to where your catalytic converter is. Using the RampPro Oxygen Sensor Kit, you insert the oxygen sensor socket where your sensors are in the catalytic converter, and use the 3/8" ratchet to tug and release the bad sensor. Just replace it with the new sensor and screw it on tight with the ratchet. And wolah! These two products worked perfect on my vehicle, and after replacing both of my oxygen sensors, I used my Veekpeek Code reader to erase the code! My car is now Check Engine Light free! Please do your research before purchasing any of these products mentioned in the review. And safety first! Please don't try to attempt to work on your vehicle without knowing the risks. works perfect and fits/ looks exactly like oem on my H22A4 1998 Honda Prelude. plugs straight into the stock plug and is a 21 mm socket i believe

I have bought and replaced my oxygen sensors a number of times and when I have to replace one I replace both at the same time. Having an OBD2 reader makes it convenient for me to read the codes and clear the codes. After I made the fix, when the code says one oxygen sensor is bad I always replace both of them at the same time and I always choose Denzo oxygen sensors they are OEM and happen to be the best oxygen sensors on the market bar none.

Good quality, but time will tell

I've known about Denso for a while since I used to do parts before becoming a mechanic. I definitely would suggest this if you're looking to solve a p0420 code for bank 1 sensor 1 as Denso is an OE provider for Honda and Toyota. This sensor directly bolted on fit threads and cleared my check engine light I'm very happy with the products and would use it again if I had another problem. It was definitely compatible and had enough reach to reach my connector on my existing factory harness don't have any complaints about the quality of the products because Denso is an OE manufacturer

Was correct and did cut check eng light off

Sensor for my sons 02’ Accord fit perfectly. Sensor 1 Bank 1. Reset check engine light and no more faults. Engine should now run smoother and get better fuel efficiency.

Exactly what I wanted. Works great. Secondary O2 sensor for a 2003 ACURA EL.

My car is forester 2003, there is issue with socket not fit 100% not clicking when u fix . And check engine still light on . Maybe its not suitable. No idea

Lo instale en mi honda Accord Coupé 2001 motor 2.3 cil. Después de instalarlo el check no se borró y seguía encendido, en ese momento me desilusione, después de unos días salí a la autopista y lo corri a más de 100 km y sin darme cuenta se borró el check, yo creo la computadora lo reconoció ya que no cuento con un escáner, hasta ahorita está me está funcionando bien ahorrando combustible. Lo compre con precio de promoción estoy satisfecho muy buen sensor de muy buena marca.
