I ordered this clock as a gift for my husband to replace his old one that drove me crazy with the tick-tock sound. This clock is totally quiet and the larger size makes it very easy to tell what time it is from a distance. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a basic, simple, easy to read alarm clock. If that is all you need, it is perfect. While it would be very useful for someone who was elderly or befuddled by more sophisticated electronics, it is also suited to anyone who just needs an alarm. The sound of the alarm is pleasant, but loud enough to wake you without some harsh clanging sound.

This clock has everything going for it. Easy to read at night even without my glasses. Easy to set. Silent -- no ticking. Only one AA cell. The plastic molding on the case seems to be of much better quality than I normally see in Chinese products. It has a gradual-rise alarm that resets to snooze easily. When it is full-on, it's very loud. The OFF/ON switch in the back can easily be set by feel only. It's attractive enough that it would make a good desk clock as well. And the price is very reasonable.The only caveat would be durability. Most of my Chinese bedside clocks fail after only two or three years by becoming only interminttently reliable. The snooze usually goes first, so it might be the switches. But mine is new, so a few years will have to go by to find that out.

I am not sure it's worth it to write a professional product review, so suffice to say this is an EXCELLENT analog alarm clock. I love its size and its ease of use. It works exactly as described. I'm glad I bought it. Also, it's really nice to use an analog clock in this day and age when just about everyone and everything is digital. It's a nice throwback to what might really have been in many ways been a better, simpler time.

The size of the clock makes seeing the numbers easy when one first wakes and is groggy or sleepy eyed. It keeps time pretty well, and the battery lasts a long time. NOTE: the alarm set arm does not stay where you put it. I set mine to 4:00 A.M. and many times it has migrated to 7:00 on its own. Not good.

Bought for my 98 year old mother. Easy to see and set alarm. Like the size. Battery operated is a plus too.

I sleep very late every night, sometimes I can't get up in class in the morning. Although the professor will not say anything, I still feel very embarrassed every time. So I bought this alarm clock online. This alarm clock looks great and the sound is very loud in the morning. Sometimes I want to keep sleeping, but because the sound is very loud, I will still get up. This also prevents me from continuing to stay in bed. Good choice!

Didn’t expect it to be so big but am not displeased with the size, after all, I’m no spring chicken anymore. The little night is helpful but I wish the numbers glowed in the dark so as not to fumble in the dark to push the snooz button to see the time. Also, I wish it were a little heavier because in my fumbling for the button, I can’t tell you how many times it hit the floor. It does bounce pretty good and still keeps perfect time. For the price, I am very pleased. Buy it, you won’t be unhappy.

This is a great clock. See my pic of the particular one I purchased. Numbers are nice and bold so you can read the time without your specs on at night. Many other clock makers don't realise that numbers that are too 'thin' are impossible to read in this scenario. It's lovely and bright for viewing in low light situations. It is well built. I have compared the accuracy of the time against a Seiko clock and it is spot on. It has a square face as opposed to the standard round face. Takes one AA battery. Separate knobs at the back to set the time and alarm time. On / off switch to turn alarm on / off. It has a snooze function. Those knobs should ONLY be turned anti-clockwise. When the alarm is activated it has an ascending ring. This means it increases in volume over time. Shared snooze / light function. Sweep second hand. Virtually no noise at all. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be.

Nice size for viewing from a distance. Pity it doesn't have luminous marking on the hands though, hence the one star deduction. Cannot comment on how long the battery will last but at the moment, all is good.
