Remarks: > There's a certain range limit and environmental factors that affect WiFi as a whole and are not the fault of your router. > Use the modes while keeping in mind how they work, eg. Excellent router. Easy to setup. However while connecting to the modem through the ethernet cable the net was dropped from the modem. Connected through wifi and used as an extender.

This router Archer C24 keep rebooting few times a day, upgrded the firmware, it fixed for 2 days, later on again keep rebotting, advice not to take this router, its worst and money wasted because most of meeting, learning, internet stops due router rebooting, not sure if support team will reeplae this or not

Its a humble request If you are just looking for a cheap router to connect a few phones to scroll social media or watch YouTube, the TP-Link Archer C54 gets the job done. However, if you are a gamer, download large files, or have a fast internet plan, read this before you buy. The Big Flaw: 100Mbps WAN/LAN Ports Even though this is advertised as an "AC1200" router capable of high Wi-Fi speeds, the physical connections on the back are only 100Mbps WAN/LAN ports (often called "Fast Ethernet"). What This Means For You: Do not buy this if your plan is over 75-100 Mbps: Because of those 100Mbps WAN/LAN ports, it is physically impossible for this router to give you speeds higher than 100 Mbps. Even if you pay your ISP for a 200 Mbps or 500 Mbps plan, this router will hard-cap you at 100. Terrible Bufferbloat (Ping Spikes): If you have a 100 Mbps plan, the second you start downloading a game or a large file, the router's 100Mbps physical limit gets completely jammed. My download ping was spiking over 100+ ms, making gaming impossible while downloading. The Fix is Annoying: To stop the lag, I had to go into the router settings and artificially limit my own internet speed to 80 Mbps just to give the router's processor enough "breathing room" to keep my ping stable at around 39ms. If you have 10+ devices in your house or an internet plan of 75 Mbps or higher, spend a little extra money and make sure you buy a router that specifically says it has "Gigabit Ports" (10/100/1000 Mbps). Because of its port limits, the C54 is strictly a basic task handler.
