Saved alot of room in kids closet

I thought they might break easily since they are plastic, but they have held up surprisingly well, even with a lot of clothes hanging on them. They do a good job of saving space in my closet.

These space saving hangers feel pretty sturdy, and the holes for your own hangers fit all but my heavy-duty wide tubular hangers. Metal hangers and standard size tube hangers fit easily in the holes provided. They are easy to use. You can load your hangers onto them in 1 of 2 ways. Either: 1. Hang both hooks on the closet rod, load the 5 holes with your hangers with the garments on them, then unhook one end and ease the garments downward; or 2. Hang one end only, and just hang your hangers with garments on them in each hole from highest to lowest. I did it both ways, and found the #2. way easier to visualize how the longer garments should go in higher holes on the closet rod so they don't hang too low over things in the bottom of the closet. Prior to getting these, all my tops were smushed together in the closet. Now with these space savers, I have a 3 inch gap between each of these hangers. I could easily fit plenty more tops in the closet now, and still a little room to spare between the hangers. The hangers are made of plastic, and they feel sturdy enough to hold many types of garments. I think multiple heavy items like 5 pairs of jeans folded over hangers might be too heavy and may cause the plastic to break over time. If you are going to hang heavy items like these, if possible, I would put 1 or 2 heavy items along with 3 or 4 lightweight items to not put too much weight on the plastic. I tried them in the coat closet on lightweight fleece jackets & nylon vests but I found the bulk of the jackets really didn't provide any additional space in the closet, so these would probably work best for pants on hangers, shirts, blouses & dresses. I didn't count how many hangers I have in the closet, but I bought the 10 pack anyway because I felt like it was a good value. I was thinking I'd have extra left over, but I don't! If you have snug closets, either count your hangers or just go big and get the 10, 16 or 20 pack. They'll work on most standard-size closet rods.
