Favorite seat we own
We currently have two different car seats and this one is by far our favorite. This one was bought after my now 2yo outgrew his infant clip-in carrier. He is in the 90% for height and weight and so he was younger that we would have liked him to be before we had to change to a permanent carseat. What we really liked about it was not only the crash ratings (side and front) but also how it cradled his young body and would grow with him. Super easy to install and adjust, you just clip it into the anchor hooks and rock it to lock it down. (I'm not a certified installer, so please read your directions or ask your local police to do it or to check installation) Easy to change vehicles, and to change from rear to forward facing. Head bumpers are nice and cushiony and easy to adjust. One of my favorite features is that ithe straps tightens at the hip instead of the neck. I'm never worried he's going to get a friction burn and I find it tightens easier than the one that tightens at the neck. Space wise, the passenger seat has to be pushed way up into the dash, but not as bad as some models (like our other seat). I definitely wouldn't recommend for a compact car, though I'm not sure what all is out there in comparison. It fit ok in our Soul, but by far sits nicer in our Dodge van. The cover comes off easily for washing, the straps do not. My only complaints are that the cup holders on my model are just an elastic band, no actual cup to put snacks or to catch liquid. Instead it falls to the floor. My other complaint is that I wish there was a leg extender on it because as I mentioned before, he is really tall and he ran out of comfortable leg room before I wanted to turn him around. He seems very comfortable at all sizes thus far. He often takes naps in it, has enough room that he doesn't seem squished and yet is cradled comfortably.

Read review for proper installation!
I spent several days reading reviews on several different convertible seats. I narrowed it down to about 3 different ones including this one and then after a week decided to go with this seat. Let me start by saying I work next to a Babies R Us and I am always checking their clearance section because customers often return big products like seats. I have asked the managers a lot of questions about the seats they get returned and have discovered that brands like Britax are often returned because kids complain of the seat being too hard. I have also learned that you don’t have to pay top dollar to get a seat that will protect your baby in an accident but you do need a good quality seat. I have purchased 2 of these seats and one Safety 1st (I got the Safety 1st on clearance before I knew how much I prefer this seat). We need a seat for each car, as well as my baby’s grandparent’s car, since we work full schedules. So at first I was really upset because one of the comments I read in the reviews of this is that the baby’s head slumps forward too much and sure enough, that is what happened with my baby. (See picture with orange shirt and sun in face). So I was going to return it and write a negative review due to that fact. But…. In the instructions it states that you can use a towel to help level the seat or give it more recline. Then I read some blogs and someone suggested that you use a pool noodle, that it is the best solution. AND IT WAS!!! The seat fit nice and tight before but with the pool noodle it fits even better and snugger then before! You can see in my pictures, one shows my baby sleeping in the chair before I added the pool noodle. The other pictures show how it reclines and fits with the pool noodle installed (see sleeping picture in red outfit). If you are worried about the fit with the pool noodle you can take your car to any local fire department and they can confirm everything is okay. That is what we did and it is fine. In my pictures you will see the 2 seats I have. One is the one I purchased here and the other is one I purchased in store. Installation was super easy, especially compared to the Safety 1st seat we have (I wish I could return it but too many days have passed from the time I purchased it). We have the seats in a Toyota Camery and a Subaru Outback. They fit just fine and getting our baby in and out is quite easy. My baby seems happy and comfortable in the seat. I let my 3 year old Niece try it out for a day in their car and she loves it. If you are planning on getting this seat while your baby is rear facing, I would definitely recommend using the pool noodle to make a perfect reclined fit. Make sure it is the large pool noodle. With the way cars are designed, you will have to make this adjustment with just about any seat you use. We have to do it with the Safety 1st as well. Better to be safe then risk blocked air ways!! I hope this helps you. I will answer any questions you may have!!

Great seat, great price, especially compared to the graco forever
We love this car seat so far! We got it because it was a tad cheaper than the Graco forever and still goes up to a large weight with all the safety reviews showing it doing well. We have a very large 6 month old and I know we are going to need that extra weight limit. I am waiting to get my new car within the week, and it is currently installed in my older vehicle with no latch anchors for the special latch system, but my new one will be able to use these, and honestly, they couldn't look simpler to use. It went in my car easily, and fits well in my 2000 Chevy blazer. It feels solid, and has the steel frame. The cushion of the material feels fine, and he seems much cooler in this than his infant seat- which is a huge plus considering he is so hot natured. The only draw back for us when compared to the forever seat is that this one only has 3 levels of recline as opposed to 7. His head will fall forward a little when he falls asleep in the seat (which is much more frequent in this seat because he is so comfortable in it!). However, I have found a make shift solution to that that seems to work for us. He likes to hold his soft blanket near him when he falls asleep anyway, so I just tuck a corner of it under the shoulder strap a bit and it seems to keep his head more upright like magic, and is completely free of his face. It works for us, but I don't want to recommend tucking anything near your kids face when they are strapped in a seat, so don't use that as advice. All around, this seat is well worth the money and seems to really be a solid seat that makes him comfortable, as well as works well for us as a family. My advice would be to save yourself the extra 100 bucks and get this seat as opposed to the other one.

This is the third Car Seat I have purchased and this Model is by far the best overall. Extremely well made and very easy to install and remove.

Pesa un poco, pero gracias al isofix se ajusta bien al auto, las instrucciones que trae para montarla no son entendibles.

Love this car seat. I bought this one for my oldest, and now my youngest as well. It is easy to install, simple to adjust, and seems comfy. Overall very happy with this purchase.

The install is a breeze for this car seat, worth every penny. Don't waste your time with other car seats that are a pain to install or switch out, once you try this model with this secure system, you'll never go back. Quick delivery and great product.
