I’m not an expert but I would say no. They are to correct the weight distribution of your feet and take pressure off from walking on one side etc

Q: Will these cause my shoes to become to small for me? This is what happened last time I tried a different pair

They do take up quite a bit of room, you do need to try them in different styles for comfort but I found it worth it.
