This works great when u attach it to the windshield. I tried to put it on the dash abd the adhesive wouldn’t hold the weight of my phone. The angle is perfect for having my phone where I need it while driving. It’s very easy to install. I would def recommend using it on the windshield.

I look for a few VERY Specific things in a Car Mobile phone Holder.1. Has to have a decent-sized Rubber cup mount ... that withstands the Heat/ Cooling of a Desert/City climate - without falling off, and or melting....2. Has to be long enough to reach from the windscreen to the edge of the SUV's dashboard (Or beyond)... So, that I don't have to stretch, lean - do anything that distracts my normal positioning to access my phone's screen.This Oqtiq has a very strong quick-release suction cup, which is easy to apply... easy to remove, but only separates when I want it to. And the 13" gooseneck is very Sturdy - BUT - it is also bend-y enough to configure into any desired slope / angle. It smartly also comes with a little fitted base for the long arm to rest on - (Which probably explains why the weight of the phone in a moving car doesn't make the whole thing just fall off)...Design-Wise, it's sleeker than you would expect, likely because the arm is a tubular oval and not chunky-round. Should also mention, to-date, the cradle holds the phone well. It is easy to place my tall mobile into the cradle and remove it, but has not (When placed properly against the back) fallen out on its own.In terms of the price - I am not sure how it compares to others ??? - But, it was under $20bucks - and I am VERY happy with basically every aspect of it - mainly that it has (so far) done its job securing a phone I purchased three months ago. So, I'm Happy with it. Thumbs Up.

No need to post a picture in action. We all know what this looks like. I have one one of these in each of my vehicles. You can place them on glass or even stick it to your dash. I have it in my 2016 Tacoma, 2017 Tuscon, 2021 Honda Fit, 250 transit ford van and all of my vehicles where i work. If I get stuck driving it, I payed out of pocket to install it in there. This is a great item to have for hands free calling, waze and google maps. No I wasn't paid for my review. The base does get gooey over time. When you clean your dash simply pop it off wash it under warm water, do not pat dry, the fuzz will stick to it. Allow it to dry in the sun. And the stickiness will reapply itself magically. My only downfall to this product is I wish they sold a replacement base. There is a small set screw on the end where you can remove the suction attachment. I know its just $15, but i dont need the arm. Mine has been in my tacoma for 2yrs. Lesson learned. So I'll just replace the whole arm. But don't let my single issue deter you from making the awesome purchase. This thing bends and stays put where you place it, it has a small clip to keep it from flopping around. I placed a trimmed piece of soft velcro on the base of mine to keep it from scratching the plastic where it over hangs the vent and rest on the plastic. Also another lesson learned after years of finding that perfect phone cradle. I would be extremely disappointed if this item was discontinued. I was sad to see what mishaps others had with this item. But I have never had a reason to switch out to a different product. Just remember to clean the suction pad as regularly as you would wipe the dust or fur baby hair to ensure the life of your pad.
