Great Product, exceptional post sale customer service!
This was my first projector purchase but I did extensive research and visits / demos with AV specialists prior to purchase. The Nebula 4K max is fantastic with simple set up/auto focus, high quality video and sound at a relative affordable price compared to separates. I have managed to get virgin tv , sky sports, bt sport, amazon prime, Netflix, apple tv, disney+, all working via STB or using Android tv on the projector and the nifty NEBULA manager app on my phone . To balance the review I would say that the projector struggles to deliver in high bright sunlight so you need blackout to maintain a great image but if you know this prior to purchase you will not be disappointed and the price point makes this high quality product very compelling. Last but not least, the post sale customer support is exceptional. I had trouble getting my blue-ray dvd player to work with the Nebula 4K max and the tech support team really went above and beyond to help me find a solution to the compatibility problem. They were first class. Huge recommendation from me! thank you Anker!

A Excellent Projector
A nice looking 4k media projector that produces a good quality image. It is well made and offers various inputs for external bluray players etc. It produces a picture of about 92 diagonally from around 7ft 6inchs. The sound is excellent from the projector and the brightness is adequate with a little ambient light the picture can still be viewed ,but it has to be seen in a dark room to appreciate the detail and colours in the picture. The remote is easy to use and has the goole voice feature which is great to use. In conclusion: I just wish the throw ratio was a little shorter to accommodate for smaller room sizes. Otherwise an impressive piece of kit for a reasonable price.

Stopped working after 2 months
When I bought this projector I was really pleased with the functionality, picture and sound that it produced. I would have been happy with it had it not been for the issue that others have also experienced reading through the reviews. The issue is that we started to get a overheating issue followed shortly by the projector shutting down automatically. The projector was well ventilated and clean, so there should be no reason why the projector would overheat. At first this happened after about 15-30 mins of use, however this progressively reduced to the point that you would turn it on and after 20 seconds it would turn off. After reading the other reviews that stated the same issue and reading that the customer service from Anker was poor after the warranty was passed, I decided to send the projector back in favor for another brand. This was a real shame given that I was happy with the projector up until the defect appeared and given that the cost was 899 during an Amazon sale, I doubt I will now be able to replicate the picture or sound at that price with other brands. This means I will ultimately have to spend more money to purchase a similar projector from a reliable brand which is very disappointing.

Brightness is excellent but not for daylight
Negatives: 1.You will need at least twice the amounts of ANSI to be able to actually watch something in the daylight. It is not so vibrant if you open a window although you could potentially watch a video but completely different with the lights off as every projector. 2. Projector needs to be in the centre of the room and this causes a practical problem if you want to have the full 150" on your wall. Minor corrections in the angle can be done but you need to have at least 3.5 meters distance from the wall to have to full size screen and the projector placed in the centre. Some more expensive projectors offer full size image with an extremely short distance from the wall or from a very angular position. Positives: This projector is the best I had so far. Amazing quality, brightness and technology inside. The software works perfectly.

A good projector let down by its software
I bought this projector after returning the Cosmos 1080p one, and prior to that the XGIMI MOGO pro. Here are my observations: - Its a beautiful device no doubt. - For some reason the audio output from this was inferior to the 1080p one! Surprising considering it has more wattage and speakers. I was expecting better. - The package looked like it was a returned one. - The software, oh the software on this sucked the happiness out of me. I had to reset this 4-5 times in 1 week of trial. System Software would not update, was stuck on an error (see pic), YouTube was stuck on "updating" and when it did update few device resets later, no video would play! I think I got YouTube to finally play a video on the 4th day. Worse of all is the wifi, every time I switch the projector on, there is no internet. The wifi is connected but no internet. Every time I start it, I then need to switch between my 2.4 and 5ghz bands to get it to work. So once its on 2.4, next time i switch to 5ghz, then again 2.4 and so on. Damn irritating. I guess you could also disconnect n reconnect, but I found switching easier. And because of all the Wi-Fi issue the time on the projector is always wrong, hence some apps will give error when you open them. Apart from all this, the projector display a very good picture. 4k looks great. Xbox games look good, lag is fine, pretty playable. Also i doubt the throw ratio is correctly given. The XGIMI MOGO Pro gave a bigger screen from the same distance to wall than cosmos max. Infact the screen from 1080p one seemed slightly larger too. While the throw ratios of all 3 are same. Will be returning this for sure. Still looking for that perfect projector!

Nebula Cosmos Max is a great device; high definition, 4K, extremely bright (you don’t need to close those curtains in morning while watching your favorite morning show) and it’s fast. I love the shape of it, the hardware specs that it offers and the output that it presents. The downside and I’d say a big downside is it harbors Android TV OS 9, which is a big disappointment. It comes with so many deficiencies that I nearly returned it. It doesn’t even have its own native Netflix or Disney plus app. It doesn’t have Apple AirPlay compatibility, and you cannot install Apple TV app in there. Casual gaming output is okay but it cannot keep up with the high end games on PS5.

Two years ago, I purchased the Anker Nebula 4K projector. While initially satisfying, it became unusable due to a power connector issue four months ago. Anker was unable to assist as the warranty had expired, and they failed to recommend a repair shop. Given this lack of after-sales support and the device's reliability issues, I can't recommend this product.
