Ultra Noiseless Vintage Telecaster Pickups

I found these to be as described. The only issue was the new Ultra pickups use JST connectors (TE Connectors103957-2). I had to purchase 2 Male TE Connectivity AMP Connectors (part # 5-103945-2) to make the wiring longer and I liked the idea of being able to plug and unplug the connection for maintenance. I also had to route the body a little deeper to account for the pickup height being taller then a single coil.

Nice sounding pickups , noiseless however, the three wires were too short as mentioned by other reviews. I paid around $100 for Osidian harness to avoid soldering. I ended up soldering six times adding to the length of six wires coming from both pickups, three in each. This clearly is a flaw by Fender and Amazon reviews section is a great platform for Fender to see and correct the problem.

I bought these pickups to replace the set on my Fender American Elite, as the bridge pickup stopped working. I really like their tone and they sound incredible both clean and dirty. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the leads are too short. The pickup comes with PCB connectors and you are supposed to cut them out if your guitar does not have the PCB, what's left are leads that barely reach the control cavity. You will have to replaced them or extend, otherwise they will not reach the switch or the pots. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a hassle.

The neck pickup had a serious dent in it. I sent it back.

I am sure these will sound great, but the wires are at least 2 inches too short, which created all sorts of issues on the tele body I was working with. For what you pay, it would be nice to have a bit more slack.

本当にノイズが劇的に減ります。もっと早く購入すればよかったです(笑) 音はテレキャスらしさは多少薄れます。ハムと同じような構造らしいのでいたしかたないですが。でもノイズを気にせずに強く歪ませたり汎用性があって使いやすいとは思います。 取り付けに際しては、よくわからないコネクターついていて線が短いので、元のピックアップの配線を流用することにして、コネクタを根元で切ったこのピックアップの線と繋ぎました。新たに配線し直すよりは楽だと思います。ただアース線が別にあるのでそれは延長して配線する必要があります。 あと普通のピックアップよりも高さがありますが、フェンダーのギターであればおそらく加工なしでも乗せられると思います。私のギターは全く問題なく取り付けることができました。

I always use noiseless pickups on my fenders. These are well rocky but clean up fine for the country stuff. They handle rock and overdrive stuff really well without compressing at high gains. Great pickups.

I bought this pick up set. I went to install the pick ups a few months later, i tested the pick ups, only to find out the bridge pickup was dead. I had no avenue for returning the pick up because it was past the due date for returns. Now i have to buy a new bridge pick up. Not happy.
