Great keyboard
This is a very nice keyboard. Excellent quality! Solid construction and nice material feel. As a life-long touch typist I appreciated the size and shape of the keys and the feedback from each keystroke. It's also pretty quiet. The letters on the keys are laser etched and seem pretty durable. The one disappointment is that the letters on the keys are just semi-transparent plastic that allows for the backlight to shine through without any pigment, unlike a laptop keyboard which has a dull white color on the letters. The disadvantage is that it is not being very legible without the backlight on. If you don't mind that, I would high recommend this keyboard! I have updated this review with a higher rating because after getting used to the backlight being on all the time, I just started enjoying the typing experience so much. The material coating on the keys gives it a very soft touch, and the typing feel is buttery smooth.

Love this Near Perfect Keyboard
This is perfect for my home office. It’s dark when I start working and dark 9 hrs later during the winter months here in Seattle. After reading a ton of reviews, I settled on this. And I really like it, dare I say love it? Multiple light colors that are pleasant and overpowering (and no rainbow which I didn’t want), big letters that are backlit, and the feel of the keys and the light tap sound is easy and pleasant. My keyboard is not silent like others, it makes a light noise which I don’t mind. I really like the feel of the keys, curved, responsive and high (I do not like typing lower profile keyboards). The keyboard is compact, yet full size with big keys (I have small hands tho) The one minor thing is that I wish the keyboard light turned off when my computer goes to sleep, but that’s just my preference. I would highly recommend and buy again.

Very nice functionality but a bit less rugged than I would like
This is a follow up review after 10 months of daily use on my desk only. I just had the left shift key break. The little lever mechanism under the key cap broke. Although I still like this keyboard I have observed that it is not as rugged than I would like. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My original review is shown below. I was looking for lighted configurable keyboard with quiet keys to replace an incredibly noisy lighted configurable keyboard from the company "Inland". The keys on this keyboard have a good feel and are very quiet. The lighting controls for color control are simple. The lighting intensity controls are simple as well. The 4 lighting intensity levels (including "off") provided are good enough for me. I should also mention that the key lighting illuminates all the symbols on the keyboard (the Inland keyboard I am replacing did not). I should also mention that this unit is reasonably priced as well. I have no complaints.

Second time buying - it lasts about 4 years
I love the feel of this keyboard - higher key movement, soft click (not a full mechanical clack but still satisfying), fun colors (although I usually accidentally turn them on). This is my second of this model, the first one lasted about 4 years before one of the highly used keys gave out entirely. The hinges are squishy material and not something I could fix and maintain the same feel, so I just got a new one. Divide cost by four years, decent value.

Broken Pieces
Great keyboard when it was functional but after 3 months a key popped off. I did some research and found a great video from Powzan about how to put the key back in. A+ on the video. Unfortunately the key popped back off a few weeks later. Put it back in, but that same key fell off again. Then another key. I thought It was an issue with the plastic pieces on the back of they keys but its actually the plastic on the keyboard itself. For a $40 keyboard I was hoping to be able to use for more than 7 months. Happy about the backlight and the ease of typing but not satisfied with the longevity.

Loved it at first, 6 months later looking for a new keyboard
When I first installed this keyboard I loved it. The keys are quiet, the response was good, virtually no lag. With my former keyboard I sometimes had to pause to let the text onscreen catch up with my typing. It was really pleasant to find that with this keyboard the letters showed up on screen instantly, with no lag at all. After not quite 6 months, though, not so much. Some of the keys have become unreliable, messing up log-ins and requiring more time with spell-checking because of missing letters or wierd subs. Sometimes I get a zero instead of the key that was clicked. Oddly, this often occurs with the shift key, resulting in an extra zero at the front of the login or word in texts. Obviously this is serious because after 3 incorrect logins I am locked out of my computer for half an hour. I now have to click on the eye icon to view the password before clicking on the Enter key. Also, the decimal point/del key on the keypad area has come off and I cannot get it back on. This is weird because it is a key that I rarely use. I do not pound on my keyboard, nor is it ever removed from my keyboard shelf except for dusting. Usually my keyboards last for several years. I have not had these problems with any other keyboard. I like backlit keyboards, but this one was a little annoying to work with. I could not set a preferred setting that would become the default. Whatever the setting was when the computer is turned off, it reverts to garish red when it comes back on again. This would not be a major beef if the keys were more reliable. As it is, it is one more reason why I will not buy another Powzan keyboard. Some of the problems began or worsened when I upgraded to Windows 11. It looks as though it is not as "plug and play" as the manufacturer claims. I have since noticed that it does not list Windows 11 as one of its compatible OS. However, as we have no choice about upgrading to Windows 11, this is a serious problem. In sum, I do not think I would recommend this keyboard to anyone.
