Ends shrink wrapped
Cables include shrink wrap on both ends and are well made. We should have read the listing more carefully and noted that they are 10awg. Jtron also makes a pair that are 6awg for only a dollar more. If you are working with 12v systems that extra dollar is probably worth it but for higher voltages these are adequate for short lengths. We used to build our own cables and thought soldering was important. If crimping is tight (and these are) they are better than those soldered with a torch because the overheated strands become brittle unless done carefully. We recommend these unless you need something custom such as two or more wires coming from a single lug.

High Conductivity and Flexibility
Offers excellent electrical conductivity and flexibility. Ideal for RV, car, or boat battery connections. Some users might prefer longer cable lengths.

10 AWG is pretty small and holes were too small for deep cycle battery posts
10 AWG is about the thickness of half the diameter of a pencil. These were too small and would not fit on my deep cycle battery, so I retuned for 8 AWG which is the size of a #2 pencil and better suited for my application.

terminals too small not very thick cable
This cable will not fit on a marine battery terminal! you have to bore out a bigger hole which is stupid. the awg didn't feel as thick as it should either....
