I had been toying around with purchasing a more expensive Pullman pan for my first pan, but after trying this one, I don’t think I'll need to. The carbon steel construction is solid and heats evenly, and makes a real difference in how well the bread bakes. I love the ripple design as it keeps the loaf from sticking, so I don’t have to wrestle with it when it’s time to take it out of the pan. The non-stick coating actually works (which is not always a given with bakeware, iykyk). I just line it with parchment paper (easier cleaning, imo) and give it a light misting of oil on the lid before baking and the bread slides right out with no mess. The lid is fantastic because it gives the loaf a beautiful uniform shape that is perfect for slicing. This pan is *not* dishwasher safe, but I prefer to hand wash it regardless since it helps extend the life of the non-stick coating. Just a quick rinse and it’s clean. If you're into making bread regularly, especially sandwich loaves, this pan is well worth it. It delivers consistent results and I'd highly recommend it. This makes perfect square bread with a gorgeous crust. Also a perfect utensil for storing the loaf ! I will probably buy another one!

Really love this pan. I have a bread making machine but fine that the machine makes the bread wider and less longer. So I use my machine for needing and bought this pan to see if the bread was more to my liking. It was. The bread comes out long but just the right width like store bought bread.

I made a beautiful bread in this bread pan. Advice I'd give: 1. Put two layers of nonstick baking sheets in the pan so that your loaf pan corners will be protected. Otherwise, you are about to have to scrape those corners for dear life. I actually almost threw the pans away because the corners had so much junk from ONE use. 2. If you don't put down the cooking sheets, after you're done baking, use Dawn (the spray kind) and let it sit. You may have to do it more than once. Over all, I like the pans. None of these items work the way companies promise now and days. I didn't have problems with any leaking. I am grateful for the price I paid.

I had one Pullman loaf already that I bake bread with, but found out I needed another pan due to my recipe making two loaves. I used this pan recently with my other one and baked some delicious multigrain sourdough bread. It works great. The dough does not stick to the pan and the bread comes out looking like a store-bought loaf! It cleans up easily since the dough doesn't stick to it. It is lightweight, but sturdy. I think it is a great buy.
