So I am an absolute beginner in the field of DMX Lights and Controllers. Although I've been a musician for 33 years and have owned some form of a recording studio for 20 years I've never had the need to buy lighting. So I just bought a DMX controller 2 days ago and received 2 of these lights today, I can say with certainty that they are exactly what I was hoping for to put in my Rehearsal/Recording studio. They were packaged well and feel much more solidly built than I expected for the price. I've only played with them for a couple hours now, but they seem to be really good lights considering the budget pricing. They are plenty bright enough for a rehearsal space and even a small club so unless they completely crap out within the next few times I use them (in which case I will update this review) I absolutely reccomend.

I haven't even received this light yet, but it's most likely getting returned. I contacted technical support for information on how to hook it to my controller and someone in China responded and told me, since I purchased it from Amazon, they need to give me support.... Amazon is a SELLER. NOT a tech support house. For those of you wondering, ADJ boasts that it has over 5000 profiles in their MY DMX GO software, and they do.... THIS manufacturer is not listed at all. Careful with this purchase.

Plugeed into standard 110 volt AC outlet using power cord with unit and an immediate "pop" sound occurred. Unplugged from wall outlet and repositioned coed snugly into unit and tried again and this time nothing. Apparently blew up the very first time. I have 4 more units which are runningm late and because of this I will be cancelling that order and returning this defective one. Do not count on this manufacturer if you are in a hurry or simply want a unit that works.

So far so good the only problem i order two and one was damaged so i have to orders a replacement will see when i get the new one
