Power Up
Ordered this battery for my old Dell 17" laptop. Battery came as promised. Replaced the old battery with the new one. Pressed the power button and the laptop powered up. Plugged in the charger and verified via the firmware that the battery was charging. Still doing well.

It brought my old Dell Studio 17 Back to Life
My battery was delivered by UPS in 40° temperature with the doors open on the truck. So I let it warm up to room temperature for 2 hours before I installed & charged it. My old Dell is operating like new again after also replacing the long dead CMOS Battery ( CR- 2032 button battery) on the Motherboard.

Good replacement battery.
Fits properly, and the laptop recognized it, and the battery error has gone away. Can't speak on battery life, as mine stays plugged in 100% of the time.

Did not solve problem my problem.
Battery appeared to be OK. Had a 50% charge. Trying to solve a " plugged in, not charging problem". Situation did not change, therefore I can not evaluate the battery. Eventually battery discharged, but I was satisfied with purchase.
