Some answers, honestly. The battery is 100% a flat top. 18650 3.7V 2600mAh 9.62Wh.

Are these okay in the rain? I’ve had solar outdoor lights that either change mode by themselves or just pack up.

I have had these lights for approximately a week or so, the weather has been variable but has included days of rain. So far so good, no issues - like you, I have had numerous solar lights but these are amongst the best to date, comparable with innogear solar lights, but these can be charged indoors.

Do you still have and use this lamp? Would you recommend it? Is it nice and bright?

I still have it and it is still working ok. Quite bright - certainly bright enough to illuminate a doorway. Sometimes with heavy use and low light e.g. mid winter it struggles to get a full charge but you can easily take it down and charge on USB
