Versatile and Unique
Sure this stuff is a bit expensive, but it is delicious and nothing else really compares to the taste. I have used and bought several chili crisps now and although I do like all of them for different reasons, this one has a very unique taste and is perfect for ramens, stir fry, kimbap, rice bowls, etc. I also really like it on pizza, although I have yet to try it on ice cream. I will say you get a lot more oil to chili crisp ratio in the Fly By Jing compared to some other brands that are more chili crisp with less oil and the chilis are finer and more mashed, so a softer texture and less crunch, but it has a very unique taste to it. It is worth getting the larger size - much better value as it lasts forever in the fridge. Not too hot - there is a hotter version, but I prefer the original for versatility.

Good on everything 😁
This is so savory and spicy and delicious on just about anything. The flavor profile and consistency are on point.I got a grocery store dupe to try (for convenience) and immediately went back to ordering FBJ. The other one had no flavor and the chili was all clumped together. FBJ will be my go-to chili crisp from here on out!

The best chili crisp of them all!
So delicious !I’ve been adding this stuff to so many things. I drizzle it on cottage cheese. Great on eggs. Fried rice. Chicken. Great savory, umami flavor.I give it as a gift wherever I go and everyone loves it.It’s too expensive, but I’ve tried cheaper brands at Ranch 99 and the like and while those are good, they aren’t *great* like Jing’s.

Great product
Not the absolute best chili oil I’ve had but still tastes great! No complaints at all, I’ve just had better tasting chili oil. Would still recommend!

Yummy. Umami.
Initial taste comes across to me as smoky flavor, followed quickly by a good amount (but just under too much) HEAT.I'll be using it mostly in my noodles. But I already made cottage cheese toast and drizzled some on.Definitely likes being mixed into something with strong flavor, but works great with cheese, too.The soy sauce lifts this above Trader Joes "Crisp Hot Chili" sauce.

I love it! But man this is SO expensive for a product that’s mostly oil =(
So I saw the ads and wanted to try. I read the reviews and saw that some said it wasn’t spicy enough or didn’t have enough flavor. So I wasn’t expecting super spicy. That’s not what this is about. It’s a subtle, more unique flavor than just the heat. I wouldn’t mind if it had a little bit more flavor, and here’s why. Bang for your buck: $20 gets you such a small bottle, that if it was more concentrated, I could enjoy it longer. It does feel a little diluted (which I totally wouldn’t mind at all if I got more for my money, but in such a small bottle I was expecting more).Flavor: the flavor itself? Excellent. I loved it immediately but unfortunately after one meal I feel like half my $20 bottle is already done.Packaging: 95% of products like this have a safety seal underneath the lid - this one doesn’t. So beware when you open the lid, twist too hard and you’ll spill oil everywhere like I did.Oil ratio: speaking of oil, you know how chip bags are 65% air? Well, I felt like this was 65% oil. Most products like this have the top 10% as some type of chili oil to maintain the consistency you desire with this. Unfortunately anywhere from 40-60% of my bottle was JUST oil. The flavorful chili crisps I desired filled up a mere 40% of the very bottom of the glass jar. I was thinking I got a bad batch but I was seeing other reviews that said the same thingPros: excellent flavor, literally amazing on everything, will buy again!Cons:Way too much oil, not enough chili. No tamper seal. Although the flavor is amazing, it’s not concentrated enough (especially for the amount you receive). And possibly the biggest con, the price. If this was 1/4 of the cost, I could justify buying it regularly. Weekly almost. But not at almost $20 for a jar that provides only a few spoonfuls of actual chili.Summary:Unfortunately I will not buy again as soon as I would like to. If this was $4 a jar this size, and there was more chili crisps than oil, and it was concentrated to the point where I got more of a punch per scoop, I would have this on subscribe right now, with Amazon shipping me fresh jars on a weekly basis! But at almost $20 a jar, for mostly chili oil, and such little chili crisps that I’m already running low after 1 meal, as much as I’d love to have it more often, I just can’t afford to. Until they lower the price, I’m gonna half to just get this a few times a year.
