Very easy to work with. Waterproof, but installed under dash, and under back of front seat. Most difficult was removing interior panels up front without breaking them to hide the wires. Used extra zip ties.

So my son asked me to ordered these for his new truck. He got them installed within about 10 minutes under all of his seats, but came inside and said he couldnt get the remote to work so they were stuck on one color. I changed the battery in the remote they still didnt work. I contacted nilight through amazon and told them the problem. After about a day i got a response from nilight saying they were sending a new remote out. After a few more days the new remote came in the mail and the lights work like they should. So dont buy from a company that you cant pronounce the name or becaus ethey are cheaper stick with nilight who backs their products and as an owner of lots of their products stand assured if a year or two later you have an issue they will stand behind their products and make it right or send you a whole new product. These lights are bright and put out a nice glow under his seats and on the floorboard. Thanks again nilight for always backing your products!

Easy to install and looks amazing

Work great for the price. Only downside is the playing with music option is extremely sensitive if you have a louder vehicles. I have a 2003 f250 5.4L triton and it at an idol is enough to drive the lights crazy with no music playing

Super easy to install relatively speaking, plugs into an available USB port in your vehicle. Make sure said USB port shuts off when the car does (mine does). Has preset colors - I just needed red - and it's bright enough at night to give it a red glow in the footwells, but not so bright you are distracted. Has some "music sync" modes which I could care less about. I think there are 6-8 levels of brightness, so if the max (which is bright enough for the application IMHO) is too much you can nudge it down.

Definitely needs better adhesive tape, they stayed on for about 3 weeks in the Florida heat. I ended up using 3M super strength tape.

I've bought stuff from Nilight before and their delivery is fast, products are well packaged and their customer support response is always fast and helpful. Here is the skinny on this product: - Plastic for the music controller seems very light and cheap but that's typical of products these days. Not a biggy. It would be nice if it was smaller though so it can be hidden easier. - A native English speaking person needs to review and edit the instructions. - Product is very reasonably priced and has a 2-year warranty, which is almost unheard of these days. - Lights are very bright, dimming levels are good. Flashes when the max or min dim level is reached which I thought was a neat feature. - Has few but nice and sufficient flashing effects. Nothing too fancy but I wasn't looking for that anyway. - At first I wasn't sure about the response to music but turned out pretty descent...see video. - It was very easy to install. I installed it in a Jeep Wrangler so that probably helped as well. The adhesive tape was good and length of wire to each light was long enough. Depending on the vehicle you're trying to install this in, figure out how you would route the wires to get lighting in the back to make sure you have enough length. I installed mine on the back of the front seats which lights up the rear floor and that was perfect. - I like the idea of getting power through USB. Just make sure before you order this that you have accounted for having a USB port to power it up. It's much easier that trying to splice into the cigarette lighter socket or anything else. - Range for remote is good. I didn't try to see how far it goes but standing at the window outside the front door it was picking up just fine. You do have to point to the receiver though. - The receiver is actually on top of a short piece of wire, like an antenna, which makes it easy to hide but keep the tip exposed to pick up the signal from the remote. - So far I am happy with this product and would recommend it. If Anything changes I will revise this review accordingly.
