I have one of those Anti-NFC wallets with a hard shell. The problem with the wallet that I have is that the outer surface is very smooth. It's constantly slipping out of my pocket. I was looking for a product that would add friction to the wallet so that it would stay. This does exactly that. I was a bit concerned that the "gription" would feel sticky or would leave a residue. But the "gription" is just that. It adds a surface that doesn't slip without feeling sticky or tacky. It doesn't collect dust or lint. I was also worried that the smooth surface of my wallet wouldn't allow this product to adhere. But I cleaned it with 90% rubbing alcohol and applied the tape, and so far, it's sticking. The description suggested that it needs to wrap on itself. But it works just fine with one layer and no overlap. The tape isn't perfectly clear, but it's not obnoxious. I don't feel that it detracts from the appearance of my wallet anyway. The tape was pretty easy to use. Just cut the size you need. Remove the backing. Apply the tape to your object. It feels like the tape will hold up as well. It's a bit thick. So you might have to account for the thickness.

I use this to put on things that I would typically wear gloves with. I replaced the grip tape (ie: skateboard) with this stuff, and this is nice to use because it does not destroy my gloves or jerseys (I put this on the top of my drop-bar gravel bike so I can put my forearms in the “puppy paws” position without trashing my shirts). Does the job and does not fall off. Nice thickness that has a little “give” to it.

I converted my couch to my bed. Which is all well and good, but the issue is the new cushion I bought, slides around like crazy. Tried fancy blanket tying tricks... NOTHING. Then I was like, eh, what do I have to lose, and tried this. HOLY COW it holds in place well. The best results yet. Issue comes with the price, the whole virtue signalling, and the rolls are really tiny. Also the adhesive could be better.

Bought this for my purse straps to keep it from slipping off my shoulder. Works very well. There's a lot of tape and all kinds of ways to use it.

Had this for almost 2 years. My fingers must be super dry and this helps on my earbuds. Used this on my earbuds and earbud case. A thing strip around the earbud helps me get the buds out of the case and into my ears without dropping them. A thin strip on the flat surface on either side of the opening of the case helps me open the case. I guess my fingers are too dry. However, after leaving the earbuds in the car on a hot day, not in the sun, the adhesive got gooey and no longer held the tape to the case or the earbuds. I have 10 feet of the tape so I guess I’ll just reapply fresh strip of the tape.

We tried to use this on our shower wand so that it would not slip out of hand while showering. It did not work at all, even after letting it sit for 24 hours the tape just kept coming off.

We were looking for something for an ALS patient to keep him from sliding down an "air" pad that we had put under him in his recliner. The air pad had a cover that was smooth which caused my dad to slip down in the recliner. We thought the air pad was working so we needed a solution to stop the slide because we couldn't have him sliding off the recliner and onto the floor! We researched high and low and found this gripper tape. It was exactly what I was looking for - not too abrasive like gripper tape you use on stage but yet had enough grip to hold him up....It was flexible and wide enough that we cut strips and put it all up and down this air pad. The only problem we had was that I didn't order enough tape. We could have put it across the entire top half of the pad to keep his back from slipping. This product is great for older people or people with mobility issues. As an after thought, we could have even put it on the arms of his recliner to keep his arms from sliding off....LOTS of ideas on how we could have used this!!
