Two years later, this is still one of my daughter’s favorite toys. She’s 6 now and still plays with it regularly, often with her 9-year-old brother. They love using it for pretend play and usually take turns pretending one is a Subway employee while the other is the customer. I gave this to my 5 year old niece for christmas, and almost immediately all three kids (2 yrs, 5 yrs, 12 yrs) were playing with it; taking orders from the adults, making each other sandwiches, the older kid was using the money aspect while the younger kids just built the sandwiches. They were still playing with it 3 months later! It's a super well-made toy that will last a long time and has so many different ways to play with it that it will keep them interested for years. They can just play with it on their own, they can take orders from others, they can practice building sandwiches according to the menu sheet, and eventually they can charge for the orders using the play money. Fantastic toy! So worth the price.
