QUALITY for price! Amazing Guitar!
Just received this "little" guitar today and cannot put it down. I'm an intermediate beginner trying to start again. The size is perfect for me, the mahogany body (laminate) is beautiful, the strings are decent, and action is perfect. It came with a basic bag, extra strings, picks, and 3 months of Fender Play. Austin Bazaar even included an electronic tuner and a qr code for some basic lessons. I had previously tried the Fender California Redondo ce beginner guitar but it was too big and uncomfortable to play. It also felt a bit cheap. So I returned it and got this little beauty. The sound is amazing for a $200ish guitar. It's cool what an extra $75 dollars does for quality. I highly recommend this guitar if you're getting started or starting over like me.

For a beginning guitar player this is perfect
I just started and this was my first guitar. I researched a shit load, and had a relatively small budget. I feel like I nailed my choice, this little beast sings the song of my people. It calls to me from it's place hanging on the wall (get yourself a stand so you don't hae to re-tune it all the time as the knobs don't hit stuff and get out of tune that way). I haven't named it yet, but only because I haven't earned the name, it certainly is worthy. Seriously though I couldn't be happier, great feel, great sound, great look, now if only the player could have a modicum of "great" then the package would be complete. I am improving rapidly though watch out hendrix. I had the opportunity to play a $2,000 guitar the other day, and while I was able to feel the difference in the solid weight and the ease of which the more expensive ones strings could be pressed, I noticed my friend, the owner of the nice guitar had a hard time playing mine as he was so used to the low profile fret board and as such his fingers would frequently be touching the surrounding strings. Which made me snicker inside a little as with this guy, while it may be a bit harder to play than a super expensive guitar I was able to play his guitar no problem, it made me better, but when he picked up mine, he played way worse. I feel like it will give me an edge in the long run forcing me to be precise and not sloppy with my fingerwork which will benefit me in the long run. Can't speak highly enough of this little fella - if you are looking for a starter guitar (or not, idk I'm new to this) but a solid little guitar with that sexy classic shape, great for camping or traveling or one you can take on the road with you that can take a little beating up and still produce a lovely warm sound, this is your fella right here. Thanks Fender!

Great Value
Outstanding value - the case is flimsy, but it is okay for the time being. Otherwise, all is as advertised and the guitar is excellent.

Big sound for a less expensive Fender
The reviews were good and of course the name is good so I bought the guitar thinking I would give a less expensive guitar a try. My daughter is learning to play and I plan on giving it to her when she goes away to college. The strings that came with the guitar are fender brand and were heavy for my taste so I changed the strings from 12 to 10 which made a huge difference in tone and feel. As with most new guitars the action was set way too high for me so I sanded the saddle down. The fret work was great from the factory and I didn't need to do any work there. The look and finish on the guitar are beautiful and after some basic set up It plays very nice and has a bright tone with a pick and a nice full rich tone when finger playing. It is definitely not a high end guitar. However, for the money the guitar is producing surprisingly loud rich full tones. If you're looking for a good entry level acoustic guitar that won't hold a player up in learning and you feel comfortable pulling out in public, this is a solid choice.

Nice guitar with good sound
Love the guitar. Has a great sound. The neck is a little smaller than my last one which I love. I have small hands and it makes it a little easier to reach the chords. Looks beautiful and plays nice. The case is worthless. It is paper thin and would not protect anything. I ended up ordering a different case. I purchased it for the guitar though, so the case really isn't an issue for me.

My first guitar - It's about time and I'm happy!
For my first guitar and the fact I've been around the music industry my entire life as well as around some fairly famous guitar players and their extremely expensive guitars I'm ecstatic with my choice to finally have my own and starting with this one. I'm about 5 weeks in and know 7 chords and the sound from this fender fills the room with a beautiful vibration and sound. From my professional ear I'm happy with the cost, sound and the style. The case is cool but was temporary as I purchased a fender hard case later on. The strap works but I don't use it while learning. The tuner is on point and glad it came with this kit along with picks and an extra set of strings. I'm still on the originals after 5 weeks. I did not use the fender CD because I don't have a CD player.

Best product and customer service.
Of all the years I have been shopping on Amazon, I have become jaded as far as customer service goes. Austin and his company have restored my faith. 5 stars isn’t enough. Superb product and company, cannot recommend highly enough.

Great for its price point all the extras were a bonus
Sure it could be adjusted a little, but for what it is it's great and has a timeless sound. It came with a couple of imperfections and a couple of miss hadleings chips on the top of the fret board when it came out of the box. But hey its a $200 price point guitar (still gave 5 stars). Love it! Glad I purchased it and for the price I can bring it every where and could care less if I get a chip or a scratch. It's a beginner/take every where guitar.

What to say? The guitar is elegant in style, great sound, light and comes complete. You don't need anything more to start playing. Excellent product for the price

The 6th string is noisy when using the capo or when hitting the high frets. Is it because I'm playing the wrong way or is it a problem with the guitar?

Price is too high for value. The guitar is okay, the package items are poor quality. Buy the guitar separately for your beginner.
