This is an awesome kit!!!
Besides the beautiful reeds, you will receive a block of clay to plug one end of the reeds, a thick clear silicone type rainproof roof and sticky tape made out of the same roofing material. My biggest challenge was how to use the hard block of waxy clay. One reveiwer reported putting it in the microwave and rolling it to a desired thickness with a rolling pin between two pieces of parchment paper. I placed the clay on double parchment paper in the oven on 350 degrees for about 10 mins. It melts pretty quickly so keep an eye on it if you soften the clay this way. It worked well. I capped all the reeds and had half of the clay left over. This kit is an excellent value!! I used the provided thick tape to secure the protective roofing material over my wood Mason bee house. Will definitely buy again!!!

Complete Mason Bee Kit!!!
Great product. The reeds were sturdy and the right size. Clay to plug the back of the tubes, rain shield and bundle tape all included. Reeds are the proper product as they are preferred by Mason bees and they dry out. Bamboo tubes hold moisture and can create a Bee Graveyard!! Great job. Will be ordering more!!

Some were cracked
For some reason about a dozen of the reeds were cracked, too thin, I had to tape them to use them. The first batch I got was perfect, all reeds were sturdy, must been bad quality control on the second batch I got. But, still really good product better than the cardboard tubes I got with my bee house, like the poly vinyl piece for rain protection, added bonus

Just about all the tubes were usable! Not so with all the other tubes I bought previous to this.
You definitely get value for your money! What I liked was that all the tubes fit the paper inserts that I also bought! They were just the right size for my mason bee house! I am sure they will last for a long long time! All the previous tubes that I have bought have been at least 1/3 of them too small! Thank you!

Reeds are thicker than I expected.
These reeds are thicker than others I have used and I worry about removing the bee cases in the fall without harming them. Also, the clay that's included to seal one of the ends remains sticky. If the reeds had been cut at the nodes like other reeds I've purchased, there wouldn't be a need for the clay to close an opening. I purchased these reeds because their cost was less expensive that ones I've purchased in the past but I'll buy the reeds I have in the past next time.

These are the perfect diameter and a great price.
The feature I liked the most is the absolute consitency of the length of the tubes. It makes it so much easier when I fill my bee house. It makes it very aesthetically pleasing. I also like that it comes with clay.

Happy bees and great reeds
I was extremely pleased with this order. It arrived quickly and had high quality reeds. The clay for capping the ends was easy to soften with hand warmth and capped the tubes off nicely. No parasitic wasps in our house! No reeds arrived broken. And they even included a piece of flexible plastic to place over the reed tubes/bee hotel to deflect rain.Reeds were very well received by our Spring Mason Bee populations. I counted 4 varieties using them and by end of season, all but 16 reeds had been filled to the brim with cells. Will definitely buy again.

Looks good! Untried as of yet
We've got an orchard with 4 mason bee houses in them. Cost of tubes for them can get pretty pricey so excited to see 100 for about $10 less than the other guys. We just got them and they look to be the same type of reed the bee mamas like. The back of the tubes is open, however this year I'm doing an experiment. I'll close the back end of some with the clay and leave some open. In the past, the bee mamas have continued to lay babies even in the back end of the tubes so I'll be interested to see what they do!
