You don't get those 'cold spots' in your food. * Best-in-Class Defrosting: Panasonic knows what they're doing with their magnetrons. Defrosting meat or frozen snacks is gentle and doesn't 'cook' the edges. * Build Quality: It feels solid. Good product. The biggest drawback is the lack of clear lighting on the control panel which forces you to remember which button is which unless you are going to put the oven under a flashlight to be able to decipher the buttons
