Clear Hard Snap-on Case Cover for Apple iPod Classic 6th 7th 80GB, 120GB Thin 160GB Released on 2009 + Screen Protector(10.5mm Thickness Thin Version)

As the product description states, it fits the thin 10.5mm iPod 6-7th generation. I got a used 6.5th Gen 120 GB version and this case snaps in place perfectly and looks great. Since it is used, it is already scuffed up so I don't bother putting the screen, click wheel and case protection films on. The screen and click wheel protection film size is ok but the back case file is too small. However, it should help a bit when you place it on any surface. Note that the 6-7th generation model is A1238 and its 80GB model is "thin" while the older iPod 5th Gen model is A1136 and its 80GB models is "thick" (13.5 mm). Some people are confused about this. Also the 5th gen's firmware is 1.3 while 6-7th gen's firmware will be 2.0.x but you should not search by using firmware version! Basically, just take a ruler and measure your iPod case thickness before you buy. If it is 13.5mm, don't buy this case.

Ive seen alot of reviews on here talking about how it dosent fit their ipod.. This is most likely due to either off brand ipods OR they made a mistake.. please please please make sure you have the right ipod before you buy this. It fit my ipod just fine, it took alittle bit to put on cause it was alittle tight fit but thats just for it to be secure.. alittle bonus is theres alittle keychain holder on the back so you can put a cute charm on it! :3c

I like the way it feels, nice and sturdy. The major isssue is the case will not snap together. I am using the correct ipod classic, I will hear a snap but comes apart once i pick it up. I tried snapping the case without the ipod(to see if my ipod was the issue) but no luck. Whoever design this should be fired, pathetic. Do not buy, save your money.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago now, and it worked great until then. Before we get there, I wanna start by saying a lot of the reviews complained about this not fitting their generation of iPod Classic. I strongly recommend you really do your research about what model you have/what thickness it is so you don't end up buying this for the wrong model. This fit my iPod Classic 7th Gen 160 GB model from 2009 perfectly. Similar models that would fit this thickness would be the 5th gen classic 30 GB, 6th gen 80 GB, and my 7th Gen 160 GB from '09. This was a great case and did a good job at protecting my iPod from harsh scratches and drops, which was what I bought it for. What I didn't expect was for the clips to stop working after about 3 weeks. I took my iPod in and out of this thing a lot, which I feel like is normal to do. After taking it out one night, the clips broke on one side and it now no longer closes. The case also didn't have the flushest fit, and a lot of dust, hair, and other debris would clog up around the click wheel cutout, hence why I would take it out of the case for cleaning. I think I may have only taken it out of the case maybe 4 times before the clips broke on me. If you're planning on slapping this on and not touching it, this may be a good fit for you. But for me, it didn't work how I expected it to.

This is a great clear hard case to protect my iPod classic THIN 6th gen 80g! I love it! No complaints at all and was easy to install. I added a sticker inside of it too to make it Inuyasha themed. No complaints. The reviews on here saying it sucked is just because they didn’t read. Clearly says for THIN iPods.

Fits onto my ipod perfectly, but somehow won't fit in my ipod charger dock when I try to play music. I have to take the case off every time to use my dock. Other than that, I love this case! Makes my ipod look nice and shiny and protects it well.

Fits my Flash modded iPod Classic 7.

Doesn't fit an ipod classic 5th gen 30gb and the plastic feels really cheap
