Not original Spode. Made in China and the green band around the top of the shakers is uneven. Still pretty but not what I was led to believe I was paying for.

Got these for my daughter for Christmas. She inherited my mother’s Christmas Spode collection and needed some additional pieces. Turns out her partner had the same gift idea as I did, he bought her the exact same pair of shakers. She returned mine and kept his, but she was thrilled to get these beautiful shakers for her collection. They go perfectly with same pattern of Spode china and like everything Spode makes, these shakers are very high quality and beautifully crafted to go with the Christmas pattern. I’m sure these will last her a lifetime, just as the inherited set lasted my mother’s her lifetime. Spode is inheritance worthy craftsmanship, and one of my favorite Christmas traditions.

I will be keeping an eye out for a cream and sugar from this gold line to go with this pretty teapot. Nice size.

Pretty and good that they are dishwasher safe. However, they are way too big! Napkin rings do not need to be this big. Each ring can probably fit like 5 napkins? Having just 1 napkin in it is very loose and does not hold well. The box packaging could be better too. The rings sit very loose inside and bang against each other while in transit during delivery.

Stunning! The pictures do not do these dishes justice, and already loved them from just the pictures. I have looked at these year after year and finally decided it's time. I ordered enough for 12 settings and they came well packaged with not one broken. The teacups are on the small side, which makes them that much more adorable. The gold edges are much prettier in person with the right amount of glimmer. Great weight, well made, beautiful. Don't think I would ever use a dishwasher, though. Too many gold-rimmed dishes in my life have taught me that.
