Oceans Mom

I have taken many different fish oil supplements and this is by far the best. Usually when you open up the bottles, you get that over-powering fish smell. I personally cannot stand the smell of fish and I don't eat any seafood. I am not pregnant, but I am trying to conceive, so I wanted to add this into my routine in preparation. I noticed that it's a smaller dose than other omega3/DHA supplements out there, but this bottle says you can take two caplets if you wish to increase the dosage. Right when you open the bottle it has a very mild sweet scent and the pills themselves are quite small, have a lightly sweet taste and go down very well. If taken with a meal, I don't experience any fishy burps or aftertaste. Twice I took it about an hour after lunch and had a little indigestion and those fishy burps were bad, but not terrible. A positive outcome that I didn't expect was that it's helped my heart-rate. Before taking it, my resting HR was around 88bpm and my doctor was wanting to watch it a little closer. I am now halfway into my second bottle and ever since the day after I began taking it, I've been right around 74bpm on average. I have read that this is quite common as omega-3 fatty acids help lower blood pressure, resting heart rate, the risk of arrhythmia, sudden death and triglycerides. I have since purchased a few more bottles and will continue to take this brand as it really doesn't have a bad smell or taste at all. I also love that it comes in a glass bottle. It was packed very well and of the three bottles I have ordered to date, I have not had any shipping issues or breakage.

Love these prenatals. No fishy taste like I’ve found with other brands. Small and easy to swallow and do not make me nauseated!

Best DHA I have tried yet. Smells like strawberries when you open it and tastes like it too when placed on the tongue. Unlike with other DHA supplements, it's really tiny, easy to take and does not seem t cause any fishy burps. The only thing I would suggest to Garden of Life is to offer a bigger size...like a 90 day supply. I recently ordered 2 bottles and combined them....30 more could easily fit in the jar, so it would be more cost productive to put more in the same size bottle.

I'm so happy that I've found a DHA that is not only small and easy to swallow (unlike other brands I've tried), but also one that has no fishy aftertaste. In fact, these taste faintly like strawberries. I waited to review these because I wanted to make sure they worked for me, but after a month of taking them, I can say that they will be only DHA that I will take from now on. They are easy to digest, cause no stomach issues, and I'm surprised to say that I've experienced a positive mood boost. I also really trust the brand and their standards of third-party testing to ensure purity and quality in their products.

I have ordered these prenatal vitamins for 3 years now. I love them I take them every day. I love the fact that they don’t have a fish odor to them.

These are a great value by a brand I trust. I personally do not like the artificial strawberry flavor, but it’s not overwhelming and I just put some water in my mouth first so I don’t really taste it. I’ve noticed that if I take these with a meal, I’m fine.. but if I forget and take them after I eat, I get gross fish burps. They’re tiny gel caps and I have no difficulty swallowing them, though I can take 3-4 vitamins at a time (even while preggo) without issue. I do feel like my skin looks a little brighter when I take these, so I think they’re good quality and I do recommend them.

Review for 2 different DHA/omega 3. I’ve been taking Ocean Mom for a while. I was happy to see the pills were still small and they had the strawberry flavor. Only downside is these caps seem very sticky even at room temperature and on occasion you get the fishy burp taste. All in all I do like these. The new omega 3 prenatal I just purchased and started taking. The pills are larger about the same size as a regular prenatal multivitamin. You do get more with these than with oceans mom percentage wise. I really wanted to try the algae omega 3 version however due to my allergy to oranges I cannot risk them. These however seem to be going good and I will continue to use and will provide an update when I’ve finished off the bottle. So far the caps do not stick and I have not had any fishy aftertaste nor burping. I have not had any nausea from either type.
