Portwest PS59 AirTech Bump Protective Safety Cap Navy

I had a fall today while working on the restoration of a full size steam locomotive. Tripped on a bramble at the end of the track. If I had not been wearing the bump cap I would have landed face down on concrete. I hit my head quite hard on the ground but the cap protected me from any serious injury and I only have a very minor bump on my head. So grateful for this saving the day.

Great quality not to heavy and easy to wash

I've had this a while now and it's saved me from quite a few painful lumps. It's great for protecting my head when I don't need a full safety helmet. It's lightweight and well ventilated and I find it comfortable enough to wear for quite long periods. The short peak let's me see upwards which is good. I was worried about the size because I have a large head but it fits nicely.

Well built, fits well. Would buy again. Replaced the insert with a (Ergodyne Skullerz 8945F(x) Universal Bump Cap Insert with Extra Venting) for a little more venting, which fits perfectly. Wore this cap all summer. Protects against small/slight bumps well (am in and out of a van all day long).

Provides great protection and is comfortable to wear - the adjustment system could be better though as it doesn't provide a tight fit.

Taille bien ( tour de tête 59-62cm pour moi ) Réglable. Coque résistante, parpaing en chute vs mon crâne, la casquette a gagné( et moi aussi) et elle vit encore(et moi aussi). Asser esthétique même si ça fait un peu allonger le crâne de profil. On ne sue pas trop en dessous. Très bon produit . Serre un peu pour être maintenu, confort acceptable sauf si on rajoute un casque antibruit. Les 2 ensembles , ca sert un peu à la longue.
