Magnesium has several beneficial effects for me
I started taking magnesium because a friend recommended it for improved mood. I know it's also said to help some people with leg cramps, which is a problem I have occasionally. I picked this brand because it's one that I recognized, that's sold in stores, so I trusted it more than the many options from companies I've never heard of. I've purchased a few different brands now on Amazon - since product prices fluctuate, which one has the lowest per-tablet price at any given moment is always changing. This one was the winner last time I ran out, so I tried it, and it has the same good effects as the others I've tried. I've discovered that this level of magnesium has a beneficial effect on my blood pressure and heart rate. After noticing that both were lower a few weeks after I started taking it, I decided to stop taking it for a couple weeks to verify whether the magnesium was indeed related to those decreases. As I suspected would happen, my blood pressure and pulse increased again after about a week of not taking this, and then when I resumed taking magnesium, those readings went back down. I don't know if this would have the same effect on everyone, but for me it's been a good thing, which I've verified with my doctor, and I will continue to order this product.
