Can this be set to Celsius or is it only in herp derp Fahrenheit?

It can be set to Celsius which is how I use it.

Can this be permanently set to Celsius, many reviews state it can not, it has to be set by changing a switch on every use, is this correct?

Mine’s permanently on Celsius , it started to lose its settings when the battery was low.. so I bought a Duracell and no problems so far!!👍

Hello, inside the battery compartment on the back are four white dip switches. In Celsius mode the white switch nearest the metal probe, will be "up". Using a pen press the switch "down", and this will put it in Fahrenheit mode.

This is being sold in the uk but all pictures show temperature in f - can it show temp in c instead?
