Excellent Christmas Gift for my Daughter
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who loves to doodle and make stories. She's been loving it ever since and making up all kinds of story lines which include her siblings, much to their dislike. Good quality pages and lots of empty space to illustrate however you'd like. Makes for a thoughtful and creative gift for those who like to draw

fun
I think this is adorable! I bought it after my son's teacher asked me to make it for a school event. This will be a gift for students who did well on a reading project. I think it's a great way to encourage creativity. The pages are large and of high quality.

Great Book! very fun for kids!
This is a great book if you have someone who loves to create! My 8 year old loves making his own comics and he has used up almost all the pages already! The spaces are big enough to write and draw and gives lots of options for creating your storyline. The pages are a thicker paper . Which is great for heavier markers.

Nephew Loved It....But Be Aware...
My nephew is a little artist and he loves making his own books. This book was a huge hit! He absolutely loved it and immediately started drawing in it.But be aware....the pages are too thin to use marker. My nephew used washable markers on the first page and it bled through to the next 2 pages. This made the back side of each page un-usable. I recommend maybe colored pencils instead. The idea of the book is great...but I wish the pages were thicker and better quality so you don't have to worry so much about the back side of each page.

Great for someone who likes to draw but the boxes to draw in are several to a page.
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson who will draw for hours. He draws Singing Monsters, and Transformers. He loves it and I'm sure his mother doesn't mind that he'll draw for a half hour or more at a time. Although he loves it, he doesn't write small enough to put many words in a box with the drawing, I'm planning to have him write the words he wants on paper and then I'l print them off the computer so I can make them smaller. I think a slightly older child would not have that problem, and you don't have to put words in your comic book but they add a lot. If telling a story doesn't come easily to your child, I bought a book called "The story no one has ever HEARD before". This book gives you step by step directions on how to write a story. You start with your main character, you give him a problem and follow the rest of the directions. It made it very easy to create a story that was interesting,

Great layouts
Great “blank canvas” for the comic book writing novice. Format choices. Great starter.
