It is perfect!
My spacebar got stuck down, which is currently a known Apple issue for the MacBook Pro series, and in an attempt to fix it and clean under the space bar, I broke my previous one. I don't have an apple store within an hour of my town and needed a quick fix for my school laptop, and this was perfect! Not only did it ship fast but with gentle installation not only did it fit and sit perfectly, but it looks like nothing happened and my spacebar works like normal again! If you have the spacebar stuck issue on some of the newer gen MacBook pros (Somewhere between 2018-2019 I believe) then an apple store does have it covered to fix for free, but this was a quick fix for me for not being in close range to one!

Saved me $500
I have a MacBook Air A1932 and pulled off the spacebar key cap bc it wasn’t pressing down and then realized that the way Apple designed it would never allow me to get it back on. With a vacuum and some tweezers, I was able to gently remove the piece of debris that was causing the problem and this new key cap clicked right back in and fixed the problem! A local store was going to charge me $500 to fix the problem. Found instructions on YouTube. This was a lifesaver!

Did not work and would not travel up and down as it should
Followed all steps and simply did not work. May have worked if they would simply add some double sided tape to mount.

Amazing! Damaged the space bar key for my 2019 MacBook Air while trying to remove it and was looking for a replacement. This key fit it easily and functions like new.

Works Perfectly!
As anyone looking at reviews for a product like this knows, the pre 2020 MacBook Pro keyboard is a magnet for crumbs and small particles of whatever causing the keys to become unresponsive. The spacebar is one of the trickier ones to remove and replace and I damaged mine while putting it back on after cleaning the debris beneath it. This key works perfectly and I'm glad I was able to order it from Amazon.com. There are directions all over but to save some time, remove the key from the TOP first using a fingernail or something like a thin guitar pick. When replacing, the little "hooks" go towards the bottom first and then the top "snaps" into place.
