The description did not clearly state for what size pipe this would fit. In the customer reviews it stated that this is for a 2" pipe, but comments suggested this was the minimum size it would fit, and you would have to fully tighten the mounting bolt to clamp it to the pipe. Totally inaccurate, this does not come close to fitting over a 2" pipe, more like a 1 3/4" at the most. Either they are referring to a different product # or they cannot read a scale...?

I put this on my Lincoln American Eagle Welder generator. The bracket is welded on both sides of the clamp instead of a couple of spot welds on the center. I've seen these cheaper version fail after a couple of month. I was expecting to re-weld this before installing to eliminate it falling off and loosing it, but it was ready to go out of the box. Fit the 1.5" exhaust perfect. Now I don't have to worry about rain getting down the pipe if it sits out overnight.

Just set up a welding skid for the truck, the exhaust is hard mounted and would flow directly to the cab- its not a plumb exhaust, so i was worried the angle may not work, but its perfect, runs down highway shut and operates perfect

Just what I needed. I converted my old1970's John Deere 110 Lawn & Garden Tractor to a smoke-stack style exhaust. To keep rain / snow & debris out of the smoke-stack when not running, this part fit perfectly, is balanced to close on it's own when not in use, but fully open when the engine is running. The part arrived on time as promised.

Well-made rain cap. Not complex... works or it doesn't. This one works! Recommend.

Used it on my chipper that has a 1 1/4” exhaust. Had to tighten it down all the way to get it tight
