This drain auger worked exactly as promised! The 25-foot length was more than enough to clear a nasty clog in my bathroom sink. I really liked that it can be used manually or with a drill. The cable is flexible and is good quality, and I was super happy that it included gloves because what came out of it was pretty gross! Overall, it saved me a LOT of money that would have gone to a plumber and was easy to use. Definitely a good tool to have on hand. I highly recommend!

Worked like a charm! Super easy to use, I used on the urinal at work that someone had spit gum in, it took one time of it going down and it caught the big chunk of gum and unclogged it.

Had one of the nastiest main sink drain clogs I've ever seen in my life. Both vanity sinks were backed up. I tried some methods to loosen the blockage with baking soda, vinegar and hot water. I tried blocking one sink by closing the trap and plunging the other. That only made things worse and what had been slow to drain was now stuck in both sinks. After consulting with some YouTube videos, I decided to purchase this auger. I liked that it came with gloves, because I didn't want to get that nasty sludge on my hands. The box arrived within hours and I got to work. The gloves worked, but they're not very durable. In fact, I put a whole in one of them just trying to pull it on. They are labeled with an "L", presumably for large, but my medium sized hands were a snug fit. The auger itself is easy to use. I used the hand crank as opposed to using a drill and that seemed to work just fine. I wound up unclogging the drain pipe within 10-15 minutes and saved myself a bundle. $30 for the auger compared with $150-$300 or more, to call in a plumber. I'm happy with the results.

This thing has been used exactly once so I don't know whether it's a super durable and effective device. All I know is that it cost a whole lot less than a plumber and I'm glad to have it on hand for some major problem in the future. Some notes: - The spring on the end gave up the ghost with little effort. I don't think that was a quality issue, just that it happened while I was unwinding it. - The drill backing works fine, i didn't need to run it that intensely for my job but it's nice to know it's there for a severe clog. - You really need to wash this thing off after use in the shower. No major issues with doing that, just wipe on some soap and rinse. Make sure it fully dries out before you wind it back into the device.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this was a great product. It pulled out two huge clumps of toilet paper from the shower drain (left from previous owner). I just did the had crank. Saved me a call to a plumber or hurting my pipes with too much draino

Amazing product!! Worked like a charm on the bathroom sink. The little flimsy pipe cleaners you can buy to clean out the sink drains weren’t cutting it. Even took apart the PCV pipe under the sink & cleaned out the mess there but there was still blockage. Knew it had to be clogged behind the wall & needed something to snake down the pipe. Did a quick search on Amazon & found this. Next day delivery & now the sink is draining better than it has in the 17 years we’ve been in the house. Next up….using it in all the rest of the sinks & tubs in the house!

This drain snake works well and has saved me plenty on hitting a plumber for clogged drains. That being said, the coil is very prone to getting kinks and bends that completely ruin the functionality of this device. The kinks are very hard to try to straighten(and easily re bend), and you can't use the snake at the bend points, meaning you'll have to throw it out and buy a new one. I'm on my 2nd one, as each new purchase only gets a few uses. Yes it's cheaper than a plumber, but very wasteful.

I was skeptical of this product because it had 4.1 stars and I try to only buy things that are rated 4.5 and up. This worked perfectly for me. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out the proper technique, but eventually it did the job. I didn’t even bother with the drill mount, I just used the hand crank. The metal wire is very sturdy and for $30 it’s actually pretty good quality. I think most of the bad reviews come from people who either had an issue too serious for a drain snake, or people who didn’t k ow how to use it and gave up.

Works like a "bomb", excellent. Cleaned the drain in no time. Recommended.
