Definitely worth it (read my review it will help you a lot, lots of information)
This aquarium is amazing, it has a lot going on in it. First off, the set up is really easy to do the instructions are clear, and you can adjust how much air goes into the bubbles and the filter. There is a way to disable the light, you just unplug the bubble pad out of the wall, and even though it is unplugged the bubbles still work, because it doesn't need electricity for the bubbles to flow. (make sure your unplugging the bubble pad, and not the air pump, because the air pump is what makes the filter and the bubbles work). And yes the filter height is adjustable, you have to pull the filter out of the clip that supports it, and just put it to the lower setting, this , feature is helpful if you don't want to put a lot of water. The lid fits, but you have to put the side with the filter cut-out hole firs, then the bigger side, ad apply just a little pressure, and it will fit perfectly! The cut-out hole in the lid for food is much easier than taking the whole lid off like in other tank. The air pump may be a little noisy, but you can put it on a soft surface (tissue or a towel) and the noise will decrease, and also make sure it sin't touching a wall because that will make a lot of noise. I definitely recommend this item! It is worth it's price, you will not regret it!!

perfect for a snail tank
i did have to use a youtube video and scratch my head for about 30 minutes to figure out that the little valves on the adapter open and close to adjust the airflow for the filter&airstone because there are no instructions. the airstone does light up but as you can see in the second photo you can barely see it so i did buy the light separately. i think it’s a good size for a snail tank but definitely not suitable for fish!

No directions, but great product!
Doesn’t come with directions on how to set it up but I found a YouTube video. My fish loves it!

Very cool little hobby tank
This is a very cute little tank. It’s small but it’s enough for a little betta and I put in a sucker fish. I read all of the reviews and I agree that the instructions aren’t very clear but if you’re planning on using it for a single betta fish and don’t plan on using the bubbles it’s perfect. It’s not noisy either if you have the settings on low which you should do for this kinda set up. If you’re looking for something with multiple fish then this isn’t the tank for you. I also agree that this isn’t one gallon. If you want something for more fish than you should get a bigger tank than this one. But for myself I just wanted a little hobby tank and for me this is how small I wanted it to be. This would be perfect to have on your desk or nightstand. I’m also happy with the lid on this. It allows for the equipment to have its opening and it also has a little feeding hole in the middle so you don’t have to open the lid to feed your fish. Plus the fish can’t jump out either.

IF YOU ENJOY MAKING YOUR TANK UNIQUE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Bubbles Are Too Strong & Tank Is Too Small
I don't mean to go all Karen here, but anybody purchasing this should be aware of the size + what it comes with, the space and issues of decorating, and their fishs strength. I was so excited for this fish tank. I currently have 6 tanks set up, and one extra out. I absolutely loved this tank when it arrived . . . . However, my fish did not. •The Tank •The Filter •The Bubbles •The Tubes •The overall The tank itself was fine, but all of the things were too much. It was just overly simple to where it's complicated. Personally, I enjoy having the freedom of decorating my tank, and placing the plants, the toys, all of that. So my main problem was how limited everything was. The filter took up so much space, and on top of that, the tubes connecting to it were worse. First, the filter. The filter took up most swimming space, as it was in the back center, just as the lid allows. It looked uncomfortable for my fish as he didn't have much room to swim. Second, the bubbles and air pump and airstone. No. Just no. Again, took up so much space. To keep the bubbles and air pump suction cupped to the bottom of the tank, I also had to put a bunch of rocks around the top. I couldn't place it in the center, and Thank God I didn't. My fish would have gone flying out. Which leads to the next problem inconvenience inconvenience. The Bubbles are far too strong for the tank. They also don't have adjusting settings. NOW MY MAIN ISSUE : THE TUBES. So, there was also The Airline Connector Valve. The Valve connected two tubes : one tube connecting to the airstone, one tube connecting to the filter. The Filter will not work if it is not connected with a tube to The Airline Connector Valve, connected to the Air Pump. ON TOP OF THAT, the other tubes connected to it as well. Long complaint, shortly put, a simple cord filter would do, and a cord airstone, that would do too. In total, there were 2 tubes going straight up through the top of the tank, and a wire cord, that controlled the lights on the pump. The Air Pump Also could only run the filter and the airstone as long as both aren't full speed power at once. The Air Pump Also had to be perfectly balanced in order to not fall over and vibrate against whatever it falls on. It's just a hastle. Overall, this tank left 0 room for decorating, 0 room for swimming room, not a powerful filter, and not a powerful airstone which still can take out the fish. It didn't even have any other room for a heater, which is more necessary than a filter too. If you're a beginner, I would not reccomend this and if you're not a beginner, I still would not reccomend this. I personally think it's all so over complicated. It's just limited.

Wouldn’t really recommend…
When I got this a year ago it was worth the money, but if its over $20 ifs definitely not worth it. It’s small and it’s not enough living space for a betta (in my opinion), the LED lights aren’t that great because there’s no remote or setting switch for it so it just goes through colors which is pretty aesthetically but probably not pleasant for the fishes eyes. As I have owned 7 bettas and currently own 5, I recommend getting an Aqua Culture 3 gallon tank. It’s very very well worth the money. And it’s very spacious and nice for bettas. Plus the lighting is fantastic.

Well this aquarium was smaller than I expect it. But I only have one fish so it worked out for me. You can only let 2 fish be in this aquarium because of the size. But the system wasnt so complicated. It was so easy to set up it light and it filter. So overall it was not too bad. I was expecting to have some decoration in order to make the aquarium look better but there was none. Just letting you know that. I mean when you check the price its not too bad for it price. So I think its good.

It is a good tank for a betta fish just wish the instructions were very unclear but youtube for the save am i right. The filter and the air stone are sadly connected together and had to make sure the the connection is even otherwise only one will work. Other then the troubles putting everything together my betta fish is really happy and thriving i like how u can control the air filter and if u put a towel underneath the tank the pump thing is quiet and the water wont make a mess dont listen to the bad reviews. It is a decent tank and more then enough room for a betta fish
