I've used this a few times now. The brushes work well to spread the glue so I don't have to worry about getting glue on my project after using my finger to spread it. The tray is good for setting the brushes on, and also for mixing up sawdust and glue to fill small voids that invariably appear in projects. And everything cleans easily. (I haven't used the black spreader yet.)

I’m very glad I got this. The tray and large scraper are worth the extra money. The smaller brushes are good for small areas, but if you need to lay down glue over a large area, you can cover more surface using the large comb. I’m gluing big pieces of cardboard for my latest project. Cleanup is very easy.

I was a bit worried about some of the reviews, but the ones I got were just fine, all the bristles were separated and the quality seems fine. Maybe a tad too soft and flexible, so not sure how long they will last, but I already used them and they did the job very well.It really is better than using a finger and then trying to wipe your finger on some paper towels and the paper towel getting glue on your project and then all over the place. Not sure I'll ever need the red tray, but ya never know.

This glue up kit makes applying glue to my woodworking projects much easier. Before getting this kit I was using my finger to spread glue around. Yeah, pretty messy. This kit spreads glue so easy. I think I was using too much glue before using this kit and this kit helps me apply just the right amount because it helps me spread it evenly. The brushes also make it easier to get into hard to reach crevices or channels.Cleanup is a breeze. You just let the glue dry and then it just peels right off the brushed and tray, usually in one large piece that you can then just throw in the garbage.If you are looking to save time, apply a nice even coat of glue, use less glue, and have easy cleanup then this kit would benefit you.

This really has everything you need for glue ups. The brush is especially good for coverage on tenon joints and the tray is really handy for that as well. Highly recommend this set. Wish I got this a long time ago!

This is, hands-down, the most helpful item I have purchased for my workshop. I often need to glue small pieces of wood together using wood glue, which is difficult to apply precisely without risk of spread when the pieces are clamped. This usually meant using a variety of methods and applicators, including disposable nail art applicators, cotton buds, fingertips, pins, and microfine detail brushes. None worked easily. Then I saw Sili tools being used in a tutorial. The instructor did not mention the name of the tool, but I searched until I found them and ordered this set plus the small pot with detail brushes. I am blown away at how easy it is to apply thin coats of glue quickly, knowing that any residual that appears after clamping can be easily wiped away or is so thin that it will be invisible when dry. Clean-up is a dream. Peel off the hardened glue and use a damp fingertip to wipe out any leftover splatter drops. Perfection!
