After using string based tethers, this tether looks and feels very high-quality and I feel very confident that my GoPro camera will be safe in the event of an adhesive-based helmet camera mount failure. I really like that one end has a lug terminal connector (the flat metal connector with a hole). This is a very secure and simple way to attach the tether to the camera and mount without having to tie or improvise a way to get a string tether attached

I have purchased this exact product twice now. The first time I bought one and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for the cord was thicker and the clamps held when pressure was applied. I decided to buy more since it was a good fit for my uses. When it came the cord was flimsy and the clamps fell off when any pressure was put on it. I don’t know if they permanently changed their product or if its luck of the draw what you get. Looks like others in the review section are having the same issues as of late.

I got these to make a gambrel for harvesting rabbits - they work perfectly!! Then I looked again, and it looks like, if I need to replace the tailgate support for my Yamaha Rhino, these will be the right size.

Was going to use them as cables to hold my hood pins but wasn't long enough.

I am a new owner of a GoPro 11 Black that I got on sale. I'm a snowboarder and I used to use my phone but realized that wasn't exactly the optimal solution for recording my runs, especially if I wiped out. I started reading guides of the GoPro and one of the accessories to get for a snowboarder is a tether because if you're in deep snow, there is the possibility of either the adhesive mount (especially on my helmet) failing. Most of the tethers I've seen are just bare wire with clamps at the end. I have a pretty expensive helmet and I didn't want the wire to scratch it up. I stumbled across this and saw the wire itself is coated. Perfect, no scratching! This length is perfect for my use. I have my GoPro mounted on the front of my helmet, with this tether attached and the other end looped around goggle strap holder. There's a little bit of slack where it's not too tight but not too much where it's flapping around and that's what I wanted. In the event that it breaks off the mount or the adhesive completely fails, I'll still have my GoPro dangling from my helmet!

We just had a wreck and the mount popped off my helmet. The safety strap worked beautifully.
