The DropSouthampton Zipper Foldover Clutch

Needed this for a wedding. Didn't want anything sparkling or too young or just "too much." This fit the bill, and it feels good in your hands. It has enough size to actually be useful, but folds nicely over into a conveniently smallish shape. Would buy again!

Feels and looks like soft pebble leather. Was the perfect accessory - size, functionality & color- for my eggplant colored mother of the bride dress. My pewter silver shoes loved it too. Great brand.

It's a lovely, versatile color. It seems built well enough. The seams and zipper seem of the quality i'd expect. Two things I expected based on experience with similar products (the description provided did NOT mislead): I imagined it slightly larger, as these kinds of hand-bags typically run a bit larger than I expect generally, so as to shrink the holder at a glance. And I imagined there would be some kind of magnet or visually discreet latch holding the top part of the bag folded over until intentionally opened. There is nothing keeping the bag folded aside from the folded tendency of the fabric. It's a simple staple piece. Not a statement as I like these hand-held bags to be, and frankly I have purchased similar products of higher quality for less money, which is why I docked one star. I received exactly what I read in the description - no less and no more - , and I would not discourage anyone who is searching for the precise product described from purchasing. I would encourage you to shop around a bit prior to purchasing because there is likely a similar bag available at a lower price.

The color is great, and the size is great. But it is way too flimsy to be a clutch. Like it folds over and back and forth just holding it with one hand. Returned it.
