Very Helpful Product at a Great Price!
This 2" high cushion is just enough in height to bring comfort and avoid heavy pressure behind the thighs, which like in my case can later stir up nerve pain in the leg. For a long while, my left leg would hurt so badly behind the thigh, nerve pain then going all the way down to my heel and foot. And nothing made the pain go away, including medication for nerve injuries. Then I noticed how I spend too much time on the throne (so not necessary), and that was causing pressure behind my left leg in particular, causing a lot of leg pain. I thought of how a padded cushion would help, went to Amazon and ordered this yesterday and it came overnight!! As I opened this review, I said that the 2" is sufficient. However, if you are heavier than 150 lbs, you might want the 4" high cushion, as to not flatten it completely. In just a half a day, it has proved to help reduce that nagging pain I had. A very helpful product for sure! Thank you to the company and the seller for making this a great price. From experience, I can say in some medical supply stores it would be twice this price.

Great cushion seat for toilet
Great seat cushion for toilet. Stays in place. Easy to wipe clean. Keeps it shape, doesn't go flat. Nice for anyone with tailbone issues.

Not for big butts
If you have a big butt it’s not for you, the hole isn’t big enough. But it is comfortable, takes pressure off my hip. Makes it a little easier sitting down and getting up

Decent option for cushioning after proximal hamstring repair surgery.
I had proximal hamstring repair surgery on 11-10-20. Due to the location of the incision, it is painful to sit on on my left side. My husband bought this toilet seat cushion for me to have ready for my recovery time. Pros: This cushion adds some padded relief to my left side, and when I am sore and shift my weight, my right side has relief from taking the extra pressure. The cushion is easy to install and easy to wipe clean after use. I have been using this since surgery day and it still seems as cushy as when we received it. Though it does compress down, becoming a little firm, this cushion is still better for me than trying to sit on a regular hard seat. I go out of my way to use the one toilet with the cushion. It doesn't make the toilet too tall. Other notes: Make sure to measure your toilet seat before you buy this. I believe this cushion is made for a rounded, not elongated, seat because the cushion narrows the opening of our elongated toilet making it harder to wipe when sitting. You may need to trim or tuck in the velcro straps or they may stick out the side of the seat and poke you. Messes can get between the seat and the cushion, so it should be checked and cleaned often. See pix. If you are looking to add height to your seat, this doesn't add more than an inch. Cons: I have noticed the seams are cracking slightly and are getting a little dirty and hard to clean.Overall, if this wears out, unless I find an actual padded toilet seat in the shape of my toilet, i would buy this again, and I would recommend it to others as a reasonably priced cushion option.

Great value for the price - just not a great fit for elongated seats
I read all the comments before purchasing concerning elongated seat fit -- be aware that this item is not 16 inches as advertised -- it's actually only 15 inches (and that's from tip of very top in the middle, to very bottom of sides. So using it on an elongated seat is going to be a n ongoing challenge. You'll need to add plenty of extra tie-downs all along the cushion to hold it in place, and stretch to a lot to widen the gap in very front.BUT -- don't let that stop you if you're seeking a very effective comfortable & inexpensive cushion. This wins 5 stars for the fact that 2 inches is totally perfect, the product is well-made, with no seams to interfere with comfort at all. For the money, it's a top-notch item. Just plan on coming up with several more ways to tie it down,( in addition to the Velcro it comes with) as you have to stretch it a lot for an elongated seat. I used old flat shoes laces -- perfect! (I always knew being a "semi-hoarder" would pay off eventually! Grin, grin)

Waste of money
When I needed a colonoscopy, I was most anxious about how my bad back would fare, spending hours at a time on the toilet. This got the best reviews for adding comfort to an existing toilet seat, so despite the negative reviews, I bought it.Thanks to other reviews, I knew it would compress when I sat down (making the opening much smaller), so I purposely held the seat wide as I sat, so I didn’t have an issue with- um- stuff getting on it. I just didn’t attach it to the seat.My complaint is that it doesn’t give sufficient cushioning. I felt it while it was sealed and thought the foam was fairly dense, but as soon as I took it out of the wrapping, it was about as cushy as a piece of lunch meat. Yes, it was definitely better than a hard seat, but it was not as cushiony as I’d hoped and thought it was when I felt it while sealed. If they made this with a denser foam, it would be great, at least for short-term use (like colonoscopy prep or when recovering from a medical procedure or issue), but they should make the inner part more rigid so it doesn’t close in so much. It does seem like the material would clean fairly well, if this is your only option for longer use, although I won’t need it for another ten years, thank goodness, so as much as I hate contributing to the landfills and buy-it-and-chuck-it habit, I indeed threw it out.I didn’t need it for rising (as it mentions in the description and on the package), but that’s ridiculous for it to claim it will help. This certainly won’t elevate you 2”, and I would be surprised if it elevates even half an inch, so your money would be much better spent at a medical supply store or for an actual toilet seat riser. it compresses nearly flat as soon as you sit down, so it doesn’t provide any lift at all, if that’s what you’re looking for.
