Still great after 4 years of regular use!
So I’ve now owned this Chill Sac for almost 4 years, and have to say it really was a great, worthwhile purchase. I replaced an old futon, so truthfully anything was better than what I had. But after using it for so long, I couldn’t imagine getting anything else. I have the queen size, so when not fluffed up, it does take up a large portion of our office. This isn’t an issue for me personably, but just know they do flatten out over time if you don’t flip the Chill Sac for a while. I don’t find maneuvering it to be too difficult, I just flip it a few times and knead it like a little dough ball until it’s full and fluffy again. I did purchase extra foam like other reviewers have suggested, and I definitely agree that it’s worth it. I have spent hours on this thing - falling asleep/napping, watching tv, playing video games, being sick, all because it’s so comfortable. I’d say the queen size can comfortably fit three adults. Guests compliment it all the time, and always ask to sit or lay in it, then they never want to get up! I’ve had friends purchase this same one after seeing ours. Definitely a solid purchase, and if you value comfort, you’ll love it.

It's pretty much perfect with some caveats that don't matter in the end.
Another user said this is a life changing purchase. IDK if it will create world peace one step at a time in your home. Maybe. Definitely ordered two more 30lb memory foam bags to further line out the chill sack - the order process through their website was relatively simple and quite cheap. A lot of reviewers recommended the official foam rather than cheaper off brands. Absolutely the additional 60lb filled out the space to a comfortable degree. I will say for the affordability and utility this is an absolute bargain. There are a lot of strengths to this product that are obvious and you can read other reviews for them so I will list mostly potential downsides to help you refine whether or not this is your purchase. I think some of these are the largest disadvantages: *The lack of size-fit sheets designed for this product but this is easily remedied with non elastic oversize types. *After about a week or two of regular use this piece of furniture should be rotated, maybe even more frequently depending on your stamina and the composition of the room it is stored in. *Choose your material carefully. I chose Ultrafur and while it is VERY soft I would say it is not the most breathable material you could potentially choose. I tend to get a bit hot, but I would imagine a leather-like cover would be a bit more intense in the summer. *Acclimating to your seating/laying patterns is an unexpected challenge, and with added foam this can be HEAVY. Bare in mind regardless of which type of furniture this will be used for, it is very difficult to move around if you are smaller or have a small space. Exercise caution fluffing the thing up or transporting it. *Other users have commented on the smell, apparently depending on the stuffing type the odor may vary. In my experience the first week (and subsequent week obtaining extra foam) the smell was very chemical-oriented and modestly strong. I would recommend airing this out for a small while before using it as a regular piece of furniture. For sure, the chemical odor (presumably for cleaning this granulated memory foam) went away in its entirety after a short few days time. Overall this is cheaper than some of the similar more compact and less useful alternatives. If it's a bed, a gaming chair, or family's chill spot, this thing is great for it at a significant fraction of the cost of many other competitors: both Memory Foam mattresses & Modular bean bag chairs. Get this one.

It broke my internet, I almost died, and now people won't leave my house
Alright so I read the reviews and I know what was up. The vanilla version of this with just the normal amount of foam is NOT like the pictures. As for that guy who has a video of him breaking the foam with a brick I have no idea what happened to him. I received this giant package, with an inner and outer liner. I also purchased an additional 30 pounds of foam. Adding the foam was... a messy process. I got it though. Then I started letting this thing puff up in my office, it was too big. Holy cow it was big. I am a large man and can say 2 of me could fit comfortably across the whole thing. The first day I tried to use it and roll it around and it managed to snag my fiber wire for the internet and snap it because it was so large and so heavy. Also it wasn't particularly comfortable the first day or 2 and I thought I had just wasted a bunch of money. So I get my wife to help me move it out of my office into our family room. Then I almost died. Have you ever tried to move an unconscious person? Or someone who is trying not to move? It's like that. This was now around 100 pounds of pure "I ain't movin" in a bag. We struggled to get it through every door frame and hallway, sweat pouring into our eyes and me just body slamming this thing. My wife starts to lose it because I look ridiculous pelvic thrusting this thing through the small hallway into the dining room. After about 30 minutes we finally get it to the family room. I thought I was going to die from working out so hard. So the next few days we roll it around and after about 7 days its totally fluffed out and now the most comfortable spot in the house. You will fall into it if you fluff it like a pillow, it's still heavy you will may need help. Then you can sleep like a champ. There wasn't space in my office for it but I do recommend it for a big room. You can get three adults on it comfortably. Now there is a new issue. People come over to hang out and they don't want to get up or leave. They just lay there and ignore whatever social function was supposed to happen because it's too awesome. We got some pillows and a queen sized sherpa blanket and now people literally wanna stay the night and ask about moving in. So if you want to invest the time, the extra money for foam, and prepare yourself for a workout. You have a badass talking piece that you can literally sleep on for the night.

Pretty Sweet, just needs more fluff
I own this bag and another one the next size down. Material: the material is incredibly comfortable and feels very high quality. It is silent when you move against it, as opposed to bean bag chairs of the past. I have spilled a few drinks on it, but cleaning up was easy. The material breathes against skin and feels great. Weight: this bag is heavy. You should not purchase this product unless you are strong enough to lift it, because you will need to fluff the chair up every now and then. Unpacking: go slow. The instructions could be better. Overall, very easy. Cons: The chair does not come with enough stuffing in my opinion. This means that the chair tends to slowly pancake on the floor and must be refluffed every day or two. If the fluff is a big deal to you, then get the next size down, which has a better ratio of filler. Some people make this complaint before the filling has had time to fully expand, but my chair has had its time. I really think the company needs to address this issue, given the number of people who have mentioned it on here. Size: huge. You won’t be able to move this chair from the room you open in in, so be careful. Avoid this product if you are changing residence anytime soon. Overall: I really like the chair and recommend the company and the product. This chair will let you chill with with one or two other people on it and have lots of spare room leftover. If the fluff is going to be a huge issue for you, then get the chair one size down.

Misrepresentation of product in photos
Chill Sack Bean Bag Chair: Giant 8' - Reviews stating that this bean bag chair appears to be only 1/2 full are entirely accurate. Before arrival, I performed weight/volume calculations for the shipment. Basing weight calculations on an average of volume vs weight for memory foam from different manufacturers, I estimated the weight of foam to be approximately 200 lbs. The shipping weight of the entire order, foam and cover included, was approximately 130 lbs. We ordered a furry cover, and though I did not weigh this separately, I estimate the weight to be approximately 20 lbs. I anticipated that the bag would appear half full based on other user reviews, and cautiously purchased an additional 40 lbs of shredded memory foam. This was enough foam to fill 16 king-size pillowcases approximately 1/2 to 3/4 full. Adding 16 pillowcases to the Chill Sack made the chair appear to be approximately 3/4 full. I could add another 40 lbs (16 pillowcases) easily. The additional shredded memory foam was very expensive, as were the pillowcases. In retrospect, it would have been cheaper to purchase another Chill Sack to fill my Chill Sack to the volume posted in the pictures. Regarding the sample product pictures, either the Chill Sack foam bag I received was intended for a bag other than the 8' design, or something other than this foam bag is present inside the Chill Sack in the product pictures.

If EVERYONE had just ONE of these 8’ Chill Sacks
We would have world peace, because everyone would know the clear difference between lifestyles worth living and gutter drag destruction worth passing up. We would have an end to world hunger, because everyone would be so extraordinarily satisfied with their newly uplifted personal reality and that beauty of life rekindled that they would surely snap abruptly into a love that makes the empty full. & We would see the end of all disease and poverty; as sometimes even the most elusive of answers to those most radical of challenges merely require a fresh perspective to conjure and realize. This bean bag has changed my life, and given me hope for my future, in which I intend to perhaps own 3 or 4 overlapping one another in a small and preferably sunken into the floor space. It could make for a room in which one must trudge through foam and faux fur before finding their ultimate and final rest. Please bow your heads with me and together let us pray for this miraculous future. This company should be awarded a Nobel Peace prize. In my opinion, they need to find a way to properly be transparent in their product description that they intend for this product to come at one of say three different fill levels, the first, is 99 lbs which is 35 lbs short of the advertised weight. There are reviewers here who knock on how extremely large and heavy this product is. They should have noticed that there are 7’, 6’, and 4’ sacks available to suit their wimpish needs. This 99lb default weight will prove satisfactory for them, while allowing the rest of us to properly break up our memory foam and space it out for maximum comfort over the course of the next week. After such a time has passed, father Chill Sacks will send out the remaining 35lbs amiss from the description and possibly work with each customer with an exemplary dedication to quality service to ensure all are happy with their final result. The 135lb mark, in my opinion, reaches a more decent but also perhaps more frustrating level of foam. Alongside my own purchase, I had decided to bag two 30lb supplementary foam sacks from the official website (I do not recommend Amazon Foam). The low-weight 99 lb sack plus that full additional 60 lbs (30 or so over what was originally intended to be stock) created the most fun and comfortable piece of furniture I have ever had the privlege of enjoying in my entire lifetime. If only Chill Sacks could clearly state in their description “This bag is shipped @99lbs for X Reasons” and that “After 1 Week we will ship you additional foam to reach level 2 or even 3 (135lbs and 160 lbs respectively), then their customers wouldn’t have to ever enter a state of survivalism in which they viciously attack the company they perceive to be sneaking $ from their pockets im some Conspiratal Bid to crank out a few extra nickels and dimes. A company which, again, as this product once satisfaction is reached will prove, IS PERHAPS QUITE LITERALLY THE GREATEST COMPANY THAT HAS EVER GRACED THE HISTORY OF THE HUMAN RACE UPON THIS THE PLANET EARTH, NOT KIDDING. To they: I beseech you to please find a more transparent way…and to everyone else I beg: BUY IT NOW. BUY TWO 30LB SACKS NOT OF AMAZON FOAM BUT CHILL SACKS FOAM FROM THEIR WEBSITE ALONGSIDE IT. YOU WILL LITERALLY CONTRIBUTE TO SAVING THE WORLD BY ESCALATING YOUR OWN POSITION UPON IT TO MASTER-ELITE COMFORT STATUS 9B. There is ZERO opportunity for you to regret this, so BUY IT. & God’s speed, -L

Good Product But Be Prepared...
...To Buy More Foam The quality of the cover is nice. Soft, comfortable, and durable. The inner liner is also well made. A double zipper ensures the foam will stay in the inner liner. The liner seems strong and unlikely to tear. The bean bag is BIG and three adults can easily lay on it. I am very satisfied with the quality of this item. However you should absolutely plan on buying more foam. The listed package weight is 135lbs. I estimate 120-125 of that is the foam that is included. As you can tell from the second picture, the included amount does not fill out the bag and you will sink to the floor. With 50-60lbs extra, you'll have enough for a soft but fully supported bean bag (very similar to the product photos). If you want a firmer bag like we did, you'll need to go with an extra 80lbs. As you can tell from the first photo, 80lbs fills out the bag quite nicely. If you want a super firm and maxed out bag, you might try for 90-100lbs extra. Keep in mind the more you pack in there the more stress on zippers, seams, etc. Be aware that once you open up the inner liner there will be a mess, although not nearly as bad as what I was fearing. With some basic caution your foam mess won't be too bad and you can vacuum it up pretty easily. Again it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it could be. One other thing to note, you should probably set up your bean bag wherever you intend to keep it, as it is heavy to move around once filled. Both the included foam and surplus foam are shipped in a compressed state. Do not attempt to help the foam decompress until AFTER the foam is in your inner liner and ZIPPED UP or you will have a bigger mess. Once in the inner liner, you will need to knead the foam with yours hands and fingers and break up big chunks. Your hands will tire out quickly, but this helps the foam expand faster. Pros: •This thing is HUGE! As advertised! •Very comfortable! •High Quality! Cons: •Have to buy your own (supplemental) foam •Adding foam is a bit of a pain •Extra foam increases the total cost of ownership Overall I give this product 3 stars. It may seem a bit harsh considering how much I like this product, but buying and adding your own extra foam is a pain. Its true that this bean bag is a bit cheaper, but the cost of the (necessary!) extra foam bumps the true price up into the $700-$800 range. Generally I would feel better about buying from this seller rather than an unknown, because the quality of this product is high, which is the most important thing. Therefore I DO recommend this item *IF* you are willing to take on the additional costs and effort of buying and adding the necessary foam to properly fill out your 8 foot bean bag.

Actual Review. The Real Truth.
FACTS: 1. The bean Bag is the correct dimensions. 2. Comes in a box with shredded memory foam, memory foam expanded fully just by opening packaging. Hard Truth: 1. The bean bag does not come with "enough" memory foam. It does fill the bean bag 80% but not 95% like my photos. 2. IF you want the bean bag to be how the original photo is. You will need to separately purchase more shredded memory foam. I purchased an additional 10 pounds of shredded memory foam. ($40) Now anyone can jump as high as they want and not get hurt falling onto the bean bag. Without this extra foam sometimes the floor is too close resulting in a not fun fall. 3. You will need around 30 additional pounds of shredded memory foam to get the same bean bag the original seller photos show. FINAL REASON TO BUY: - It's really nice, to relax on, to jump on. You could fall asleep on this if you were very tired. But you need the extra foam or else, It's just half way good. FINAL REASON TO NOT BUY: - This is not a LoveSac, That is a 1k bean bag, this is not. If you want that go spend that money. This is not a bed, its a bean bag. Nothing more or less. If you don't have the money to spend $650 on a bean bag. Don't buy this. The extra foam is NEEDED. $$Welcome.
