Good product!
Player arrived on time, and - I think - is a good price. I've already been using a Majority sound bar for a couple of years, so I was hopeful that this little player would be of similar quality. I haven't had it long enough to test it thoroughly, but have been able to pair it with my bluetooth ear buds quite easily. The sound quality is good, with several equaliser settings, and the volume goes very high with little or no distortion. The build quality is also good, and the player feels quite substantial without being "clunky". The player comes with a separate in-line control to use with wired ear buds if you wish (provided), a C-type usb cable, and a short auxiliary cable for connecting to other gadgets if bluetooth isn't an option. . I bought this item to play MP3 discs of vintage radio programmes as well as music CDs, and so far it plays both excellently. It also comes with a free 3 year warranty, which I'll be sure to apply for!

Good quality portable cd player.
I have only used it a couple of times but so far it has worked well. It seems well made and is easy to use. It has good sound quality. It has a memory mode function , starting again from where it was stopped, which is great for listening to audio books. I have not used the blue tooth. It's rechargeable so that saves on buying batteries. I am pleased with my purchase.

Works well on its own, but doesn't connect in-car.
This is a modern "discman", which is what I was looking for. It works well so far after a month. I have only used it with my own earphones, and with those it seems to pick out the bass parts in music CDs very well - a little too well for some, I suspect. However, I quite like that effect. It does have a few preset EQ settings, which are quite varied, but still bassy. The sound is solid and firm, not in any way tinny. If it keeps on working, then it's definitely worth the money - time will tell, but so far so good. All in all, it's pretty simple to operate, though if you want something to play in your car, this may not be for you, as, despite my best efforts I can't get it to play through the sound system in my car, either via bluetooth or the AUX socket. Maybe it works in some cars, but not mine. Luckily that's not really why I bought it, but I've knocked a star off for it.One minor issue - to open the player you have to push a slider on the side, rather than a press button. At first I found this irritating, but now realise that it does prevent accidentally opening the player on the move.

A quality product at a very reasonable price.
very happy with the quality, and the fact that I can just put it in my bag and listen to my cds whilst travelling. Small and light, but not so light that it seems cheap. I will mainly use it in the house and wanted a portable player that I can take from room to room with me. Very straightforward to use. Have only used it connected to bluetooth speakers so far and had no problems connecting to a Bose speaker and then Soundcore portable speakers. Each time connected with ease.

Stunning!
I write this first sentence every time I buy anything made by Majority / Oakcastle:"Absolutely stunning for the price!"I have no idea how they develop these products so well and sell them so cheap.I have just bought a new car, and being a neanderthal, had no idea they no longer came with CD players, which annoyed me.So, I needed a solution. My last foray into the world of portable CD players was around 20 years ago so I wasn't expecting much.I saw this one from a brand that I trusted and added bonus of Bluetooth. On unboxing I was impressed at how cool it looked. As always with these brands, they come with every cable you will need.I charged it, played around with pairing different devices over Bluetooth, then tested it.The sound is unbelievable (and I'm an audiophile). I honestly wasn't expecting it to sound so good. The controls are all intuitive, but the most impressive thing (other than the sound) was that I could walk around with it with no interruption or disc skipping at all!To test properly,I took my dogs out for a walk whilst playing a CD. It did not lose Bluetooth connection or interrupt the playing at all.In summary, as usual, utterly gob smacked at how good this player is, regardless of price!

Fantastic piece of tech!
I've already listened to a very long album about five times, and the battery is holding up brilliantly, just went down from three to two bars. It starts playing automatically as soon as you close the hatch, and it even remembers your last playback position when you pop the CD back in. The bluetooth mode also works great. The buttons feel solid with no wobble, and the equaliser is decent, with all the classic playback modes included. The only minor downside is the analogue volume wheel. I accidentally blasted my ears when I first plugged in my headphones, as it was set to maximum volume. This isn't something we're really used to checking these days, with digital volume controls being the norm. A digital volume option, or at least a default-safe setting, would be a welcome improvement. Still, overall, a brilliant device that delivers exactly what it promises.

Good quality with nice sound.
Rechargeable cd player that is easy to use with 4 different sounds and the sound is nice and clear, the battery lasts for about 7 hours and re-charges in 2 to 3 hours so overall a good quality cd player with nice sound.

Brilliant value-will make you rediscover your CD collection
I bought this to put in my car (which has all sorts of bells and whistles but no CD player) I had not expected such a brilliant sound. Although (as expected) great in the car, it is astonishingly good with our sound systems at home -connecting effortlessly via Bluetooth. It works perfectly with my eye-wateringly expensive headphones -I connected it via Bluetooth initially and the sound was amazing but when I connected it via the included jack and lead it was INCREDIBLE. It has caused me to collect together all my old CDs from all the dark corners and cupboards and rearrange them on shelves. We’re loving rediscovering old favourites (although some are going in the bin as soon as I can get away with it ) The player comes with headphones and connecting lead, and a charging cable. Amazing at the price !
