They fit perfectly. I’ve been wearing dickies my whole life. I’m a 36 waist. As most of you know, these run a bit small so I buy a 38 and they fit with no issues. I would recommend buying a size up and you should be fine.

I love these but they are so long they might as well be pants. They are labeled as LOOSE fitting. Boy, howdy are they spacious. I think they look a bit funny on me but my Vato brothers think they look cool. Comfortable????? Oh yeah!!! Okay, so who cares if they look funny, they fit well around the waist and they are roomy and durable. WARNING: These are very long. If your pants or shorts ride low, these will be longer than you anticipate.

Longer than I realized. Got for boyfriend and they were way to long even on him and he is 6’1”. Color was correct, nice deep pockets, along with them being wrinkle resistant.

I am 6' 5" and 310 lbs. I have been wearing these shorts for coming on 10 years now (I will be a Dickies shorts life long buyer). I've spilled 14 molar (highly concentrated) nitric acid on them in the laboratory, washed them quickly with a wet towel and they didn't get any holes in them (Don't recommend doing this on purpose BTW). I've used one pair for 5x/week construction work for 7 years before they gave out. Super durable and strong materials/construction. Best all around shorts ever! Dickies shorts like these always run 2 - 4 sizes smaller than what you would wear in jeans or slacks. For example: I wear a 40 waist in all my jeans and they fit snugly on my waist, but not uncomfortably snug. Dickies shorts 40 waist don't fit me at all. Dickies shorts 42 are about as snug as 40 jeans. Dickies shorts 44 waist are what I typically buy since they are loose enough to be very comfortable, but not so loose that I need a belt or they fall down. 15 inch inseam is the way to go for most over 6'1" or so. Your girlfriend/mother will say they aren't stylish; but who cares? Comfortable shorts that are super durable and that don't cost an arm and a leg? Yes, Yes, and Yes. They are "Itchy" when you first get them, but that is because they are hit with heavy starch from the factory. You are a man, deal with it! It takes about 10-15 wash cycles before the starch wears out and the "itch factor" disappears.

Would have been great if the had sent the right size. But I was sent 40 when I ordered 44, and the only 2 options on the ad where 42 and 44, so go figure...
