Great sweatpants but wish they were looser fitting
Awesome value and well put together. Exactly what I would expect from this company still great after all these years. My only complaint is, I wish they were looser fitting. I ordered my waist size and they fit good but not as loose as preferred.I’m worried they might shrink a little in the dryer. I will mostly use for the home lounging. I think they would be a good substitute for baseball pants. If anyone is considering a pair, order up one or two sizes for looser fit. They have a drawstring in the waistband which should help with sizes.

Comfortable Everyday Sweatpants
Comfortable Everyday SweatpantsThese Russell Athletic Dri-Power sweatpants have quickly become a go-to for lounging and casual wear. The fabric is soft yet durable, with just the right weight to feel substantial without being overly heavy. The moisture-wicking feature does its job, keeping me comfortable even when I wear them for light exercise or walking outside. The fit is relaxed but not sloppy. The closed bottoms keep the pants from dragging, which I prefer over open-hem styles, and the elastic waistband with drawstring gives a secure, adjustable fit. I also appreciate the pockets—deep enough to hold a phone or keys without worry. They wash up nicely and haven’t shrunk or lost their shape after multiple laundry cycles. The Black Heather color looks sharp and pairs easily with tees or hoodies.Bottom line: A well-made, versatile pair of sweatpants that balance comfort, function, and style at a very reasonable price.

Nice i guess
While these sweats are mid-grade and okay for the price, I have been disappointed with the amount of lint they produce. One of the things that I love most about the Russell Athletic Men's Dri-Power Closed Bottom Sweatpants is their comfort and fit. They are a nice, relaxed fit and are very comfortable to wear. I also appreciate the dri-power technology, which helps to wick moisture away from my skin and keep me feeling dry and comfortable. However, the one downside of these sweatpants is the amount of lint they produce. I have noticed a significant amount of lint on my clothes and furniture after wearing these sweats, which has been a bit of a nuisance. It is not a deal breaker for me, but it is something to be aware of.Overall, while the Russell Athletic Men's Dri-Power Closed Bottom Sweatpants are mid-grade and okay for the price, I have been disappointed with the amount of lint they produce. If you are looking for a comfortable and affordable pair of sweatpants, they may be worth considering, but be aware of the lint issue.

These sweatpants fit well for people with large calves. look good and are plenty comfortable
I was happy to find these sweatpants, which remind me of the ones I wore in my younger years. The biggest reason is the fit. There is plenty of leg room, especially for my calves. I cannot wear joggers comfortably, because they are tight on my calves. This is primarily because I have been a weightlifter my entire adult life (I am now 69-years of age) and have large calves. However, these sweatpants are a perfect fit. To give you an idea of body size, I am 5'11", 190-pounds and have a 42-inch, chest, 34-inch waist and wear pants with roughly a 31-inch inseam. Pretty typical size for a lot of us guys and I bought medium size pairs, which fit just fine. Regarding the fabric weight, I live in southern California and these sweatpants are comfortably warm for our climate (50s, 60s & 70s in the cooler months), but not too warm. I bought both the heather gray and oxford. Both are fine, however, another reviewer mentioned piling after a few washes. This is true of the heather gray pair, but it is hardly noticeable and let me add, being a guy I really don't care. That's because these sweatpants fit well, look good and are plenty comfortable. The plan is to buy more pairs, because I am wearing these sweatpants more often than my jeans (and I only have two pair!). One last note. The inside waist tie is a solid strand --- there are not two ends, but it is a solid strand, so it cannot be effectively snugged up (I hope this makes sense). I cut the strand in two, tied knots in each end and then was able to snug up the waist a bit by pulling each end together and then tying a bow knot. Just a recommendation for an easy fix.

Fits current style trends and is still comfortable and casual
Crazy comfortable, great quality, and fits current styles. I have noticed that it is prone to pile, but that can easily be solved with a quick once over by a fabric shaver.

Decent Sweatpants, Nothing Special
The Russell Athletic Men’s Dri Power Fleece Sweatpants are okay. They fit appropriately and offer a relaxed fit that’s comfortable for lounging or casual wear. The elastic bottom is fine, and the material does a decent job of wicking moisture. However, there’s nothing particularly impressive about them. The quality feels average, and they don’t stand out compared to other sweatpants I’ve owned. They’re functional, but not something I’d rave about. A solid 3-star product—good, but not great.

Quality doesn’t have to be expensive!
Very nice sweat pants. I have a 42” waist and the XL fits me great. Nice dark color and very soft. I haven’t washed them yet so can’t vouch for shrinkage or fading.

Nice pants, but no longer thick and warm
Nice pants, FORMERLY were thick and warm for winter, as of Feb 2025 they are no longer. They are now thinner like ordinary sweat pants, which is good for summer use, but bad for winter use. Great construction and comfortable fit, just be advised that the other reviews that say "thick and warm" are no longer accurate.
