Very good sketchbook for multimedia art. Markers do bleed to the other side so be wary of that. The paper has a yellowish tone which does look nice for sketches. Love the colour variety of the sketchbook and it’s nice to decorate and take around with me

Love this sketchbook. Lovely paper, smooth, works great for graphite, brush pen, marker etc. There is a bit of bleed through but it’s not bad at all. Highly recommend.

The value for money is just unbeatable! Great work by talens providing a nice quality sketchbook of a decent paper weight, with a tonne of pages!! It is best suited to pen/ink or mixed media drawing/paintings but would take a light wash of watercolour as well. Please be mindful the paper is NOT intended for watercolours . Also, I love the variety of colours and sizes. I would totally recommend I have several and will continue to buy/use:)

These were recommended to me for pen and ink sketches. The paper is surprisingly good for the modest cost of this sketchbook with ink and dry media. However like all the mixed media papers I've tried it won't cope with proper watercolour. All though they all seem to list being suitable for watercolour, none of the ones I have tried cope well with wet. If you want one that does I am afraid you are going to have to bite the bullet and pay twice as much as this for one designed for watercolour. ( I like the cellulose Hahnemuhle ones as effective but quite reasonably priced.) Luckily, being aware of this, I wasn't disappointed and felt that this was good value for money for my purposes. A good all rounder but don't get it too wet.

I really like these sketchbooks. I use them with acrylic paint. The paper isn't super thick like moleskine watercolour pads, but it doesn't buckle too much. I wouldn't use it for proper watercolour painting though.

The Talens Art Creation Sketchbook is the one I reach for time and time again. Its cream coloured paper is the perfect texture and paper weight for a multitude of mediums. Alcohol markers, acrylic markers, gouache, ink and coloured pencils all work fabulously well. Even when wetted the paper texture stays the same, with little buckling - has always dried flat when dried with a hairdryer. Quality without the associated cost too - making these sketchbooks excellent value for money. The hard covers come in a variety of colours, and protect your sketches if travelling. Once initially opened, the sketchbook will lay flat allowing you to do double page spread designs. 10/10

Brilliant little sketch book great quality paper and sturdy for travelling around

El color es hermoso. Es de 14 x 21 cm. Buen tamaño. Cubierta dura. El papel es de 140 gr. Está bien para dibujar, incluso he visto que se puede usar marcadores acrílicos, y pues los medios secos como lápiz, tinta, estilógrafo, lápiz de color. Sin embargo, hay que tener cuidado con la presión del trazo. Si presionas demasiado, se marcan los surcos en la página siguiente. También algunos colores de los marcadores tombow se pasan atrás de la página, igual que algunas tintas. Tampoco lo recomiendo para acuarela como tal. Y en caso de usarla, sería pinceladas breves, ya que si pasas dos veces el pincel, se viene el papel, y lógicamente los lavados ondulan el papel. Creo que hasta puedes usar gouaches teniendo lo anterior en consideración. En general es un buen cuaderno, sólo menciono esos pequeños detalles por si le sirven a alguien. Es mucho más barato que las moleskine. (Moleskine tiene 160 gr y este 140 gr.), pero según el precio y la utilidad, este conviene bastante. Además este viene en diferentes colores y están hermosos! También trae elástico para cerrarlo y listón separador. Sólo no tiene bolsillo interior, pero no es ningún problema. A mí me encanta. Ya tengo casi todos los colores.

This paper is great for art as long as you don't use a lot of water. I can use light water with inks and it's fine but if I want to do a watercolour it's really warps. The paper is nice and smooth and doesn't bleed. I really like the colours available for the cover.

O produto chegou antes do prazo! Veio bem embalado e apenas com pequenos arranhões, mas nada muito visível. Exatamente como na foto
