Graco TRU311 TrueAirless 311 Spray Tip

was recently doing a kitchen remodle where i needed to spray the built in boxes and face frames with an oil enhanced latex rather than the normal lacquer to keep the VOC down in the house, for the desired paint I needed a 0.013 with a narrow fan for spraying the face frames and inside the boxes, i ordered this tip and it took an extra day from what Amazon stated to arrive but it worked well for what i needed. sprays great with around 2200psi at the gun. i see a lot of knock off tips for a lot less money, but i didn't want to take any chances with them this time and possibly delay the project.

I used this to paint my sofit and facia. Worked great with Behr paint.

This nozzle worked as described. It allowed me to stain my entire fence, 2 coats, in a little over 2 days using an airless sprayer. That’s over 300 linear feet of privacy fence, 6 feet high with an 8 inch cap along the top . . . and I’m a 74 year old woman.

Purchased this tip for use with a Graco x5 airless paint sprayer. Given the fact that the tip is also manufactured by Graco, compatibility was perfect. A quick primer on spray-tip sizes: the first number indicates the spray pattern width (so a 413 would have 4x2 = 8" spray pattern). The second two numbers indicate the orifice size (think how much material comes out of the spray tip) I found this particular tip to be excellent for staining my fence with a semi-transparent, water-based stain. The broad, 8" spray pattern meant that I had to make fewer passes to cover the fence, and the larger orifice size (I probably could have used an 11 or 13) meant more stain was applied to the fence. With that being said, it was important to back-brush to get good penetration and a professional finish - so don't forget that step! I marked it down by 1 star because longevity on these tips isn't the greatest in my experience, but I'm most comfortable buying the graco brand.
