My son is 8 years old. He loved this pen, however it stopped working about a week or two after it was purchased. It somehow became jammed and we couldn't fix it. I found out through another amazon review that their customer service was great and I'm so glad I saw that! I contacted them easily by phone, spoke with Charlie, who was so kind, and he proceeded to email me, walking through the process of trying to fix the pen. Once they realized the pen was not fixable, they sent us a replacement within a couple days! So excited for my son to be able to use this pen again!

The 3Doodler Start+ Essentials set is a fantastic art activity for kids. It’s very easy to use, heats at a safe low temperature, and works perfectly for learning and creating at home. My child picked it up quickly and enjoyed making simple 3D projects right away. The pen feels sturdy, and the included materials are enough to get started without needing extra purchases. Great for creativity, STEM learning, and screen-free fun. Highly recommended for kids and beginners.

I got this for my 7 year old and he loves it. He's created some really neat things on his own. It's easy to use and the doodler doesn't get hot enough to burn your fingers, making it very kid friendly. The colors are good, I wish they came with a little more vibrant ones though. All in all it's a great gift. Only negative feedback would be the battery life. Seems like you only have enough to do one project on a full charge.

its good but still pricey for it runs fast and it’s not as much and would have to get refills soon my daughter loves it just would if expect to have decent amount and wouldn’t run as fast

For kids and adults will enjoy making things with the Doodler. The direction are easy to follow makes sure you order extra refills. The pen is made very well and easy to hold and make things. Everything works and cleans up easily.

My son enjoyed the printer but it didn't last a year. It stopped feeding the filaments. He still has hung on to it, hoping it would start working or we could find a way to repair it, but I don't think we can.

Best gift ever! My 7 year old grandson picked it up immediately, and was able to start by drawing a straight line, then a circle, and then realized he can put them together and do a beautiful bouquet of flowers with mixed colors! Imagination can run wild. If you can dream it, you can make it! Also, the battery length is sufficient, to be able to get through a small project before having to recharge. But it does recharge pretty quickly as well! Looking to buy a bigger doodle sheet, and glad that I bought the extra filaments to start with!

We've only used it once, and there's definitely a learning curve, but it's a lot of fun! We made a cute little frog, and my daughter is already asking to make more things. Color quality is good, the spoed ana tad fast but you get used to it. The material adheres well and the functionality is good, though obviously, a little learning is involved.
