From a distant I get a scent of vetiver and up cloce I get the lime scent , still searching for the nutmeg somewhere, overall a very nice smell and not one that lingers around which is nice, will try as a aftershave spray for a nice clean refreshing feel !!

Something unique that is worth trying
The scent is lovely — citrusy & bright with a hint of that herbal nutmeg. It is not an overpowering citrus fragrance— it is different, unique. When it fades, it is slightly undetectable by the wearer, but those around you might notice it. It does not last long on the skin, unfortunately. The decanter is gorgeous. I love it. Looks so lovely on my dresser. I will try other fragrances.

Scent does not last very long
Nice scent but it dissipates fairly quickly. I sprayed it on my wrist to test it and about an hour later it was all gone. I was just sitting and watching TV so I know I didn't wash my hands.

Refreshing Scent
Very refreshing scent but it is not cologne. It is best considered an after-shave or after shower refresher even though it comes in a spray bottle. This would work better as a splash-on. If you love the scent--as I do--then you'll be satisfied. Otherwise, it's expensive for an after-shave.

It is a cologne, y'all.
Love it. My faavorite. Longevity? It is a cologne, not an oil, not a perfume. That is why I took a smaller sampler to the office and then I stay perfumed all day long. Buy it again? Of course! 4711 colognes have been in my life since a kid.

Doesn't smell like lime or nutmeg on me.
Was really excited about this. The reviews were very good, but I find that it doesn't smell like either lime or nutmeg. It smells pretty much like alcohol. It dissipates within 20 minutes or so. It was in a completely sealed and new package, so I believe it is the original product but this came from New York to Florida via California (go figure). It was shipped in the summer and was left in my screened in porch on a very hot day. The package was very warm when I got home. I don't know if the heat affected the perfume, or if it was old stock but it just doesn't smell like lime and wears off before I even leave the house in the morning.Just really disappointed.
