This file works great for what I'm doing with it,I'm using it to prep the edges of Acrylic for polishing to a perfect edge. after using the file I only have to finish up with some 3000 grit wet/dry paper.The only con I have found is the cutting edges of the file fill up quickly with the Acrylic dust, but a nylon detailing brush cleans it right up.
