C+HPrecision Defender Optics Adapter Plate for Glock MOS and Trijicon RMR (Type 1 & 2)

Adapter plate went on in under 10 minutes.Don't over torque.Use a sealing plate.Use plenty of supplied VG threat locker.Banged it 20 times against a wooden desk,You can see from the image. No breakage. No scaring.

The V4 Defender was a must for me. If you know the cost of a Trijicon RMR is, then you will want to protect your investment. I also installed the sealing plate and it sat just fine between the V4 Defender plate and the RMR. Follow the instructions, use the vibra-tite, and use that torque driver

On the CHPWS website there is a page about a bad batch of T-nuts that hold the RMR to the plate. They call it the "T nut upgrade program". Mine snapped at the base at 5in lbs of torque when install spec is 10 in lbs. The website allows you to order a replacement set of T nuts for free but the kicker is when you get to the checkout it wants to charge you $8 for shipping. Not so free and it irritated me to have to pay for T nuts, driven by a QC problem, that cost pennies and you could throw in a first class envelope for the cost of a stamp. I attempted to contact the company via phone but its VM inbox was full and I received no reply after 3 days using the email contact page explaining my issue. I sent the plate back through the Amazon return program. I understand things happen but it how you respond to them that defines you as a company. On a positive note the plate is high quality but the experience was not.

Its a cheap piece of injection molded plastic. You might as well just use tape to protect your optic.
