I will now have lots of pre-filters for my fume extraction system. This pre-filter will help keep my hepa filter free of the big debris. I used this pre filter as part of a fume extraction system. I’ve used it multiple times with liver of sulfur, a jewelry patina that normally smells like rotten eggs when using it. When I run the fan with this filter I found it totally eliminated the stink. Very happy.

I bought the Fresh Headquarters air filter a month ago to use as the outer filter for my hepa filter. It came in large pieces which were easy to cut to fit and came with small velcro straps which I used to anchor it in place. It's doing its job of collecting dust and dog hair before they reach my inner filter.

They were supposed to be.I think 1.9 cm, but they were very thin.I was not impressed with the thickness. I have bought two point zero centimeters in the past and they were a lot thicker than this. There shouldn't have been that much of a difference.

I only realized a week ago that my air conditioner was what was causing my allergies to be so bad in my apartment. I have one of those built into the wall units (it looks like the ones that are usually in the window). It has a "filter" in it but it's an extremely thin one that I have to clean out regularly. I cleaned it out the day before I ordered this, and I came to amazon in search of a filter when I realized it did nothing. This was easy to install (just cut to the size of your filter). And I could tell a difference in less than a day. Normally I would have to shut off the air conditioner when I went to bed as I'd wake up horribly stuffed up and unable to go back to sleep. One night with this filter in, and other than an occasional sneeze (once or twice a day), I have no allergy problems. For those of you considering buying this, if your AC doesn't have a filter option other than the "clean and dry" mesh sieve mine has, I recommend getting this. I will hopefully remember to update exactly how long it took before I needed to replace it, but the packaging says every 3-6 months.

Great that they’re long and you can cut to size, but I don’t find that they last as long as other composted filters
