My grandkids love this pop up butterfly, bug house. Many an insect has been placed in this screened house. Butterflies, bugs and frogs have been cared for and observed throughout the day and then set free at night. Questions flow about what kind of habitat they need as well as what they eat as the try to make the critters feel like home. So fun!

This was smaller than I expected but that's OK because it is for my 7 year old son anyways. My son and his cousins caught a butterfly and some moths the other day. This morning we woke up to eggs laid at the top of the netting! So fingers crossed for some caterpillars soon!

This habitat is perfect! I highly recommend! I am currently purchasing my third one!I have somehow become a home for wayward or injured crickets. I had zero experience caring for any type of insect. RESTCLOUD is the best!There is no room between the mesh for your six-legged (or, with my newest friend, five-legged) friend to escape, nor is there room for anything to get in that may harm your friend.The zippers meet 100% so that, again, your lovebug is 100% safe and secure!The habitat is lovely to look at, has a handle for carrying, and is well worth the extra $1-2 you may spend on it.It is simple to clean with hot water and a paper towel. And, oh my goodness, so much room for little buggles to climb and explore!

I bought this as a habitat for a praying mantis. Praying mantis is still only about 1.5 inches but it seems to be an agreeable size cage for it. I think Restcloud habitats are equal to Insect Lore brand habitats. I very much like the Insect Lore brand too. I wish this size habitat had a top strap with open & close Velcro. The habitat is structurally sound; the top zipper works like it should. This is the 2nd Restcloud habitat I’ve purchased from Amazon. I also have the 12”x14” and I love it! Unique feature: the top zipper goes almost all the way around the top. This makes it easier to contain & feed a constantly moving praying mantis; I can open the zipper further away from the little bug. I clean my habitats outside using dish soap & a sprayer hose. I use both Restcloud habitats every day.

When you bring home a new plant or not sure what is going on, this is the item to have!

My grand children love this, and managed to raise quite a few butterflies that might otherwise have been killed when a local field was mowed. The instructions were very helpful.
